My cat was throwing up 3-4 times a day with no hair involved. The vet did several tests to exclude diabetes, pancreatitis, obstructions and several others. They gave her a shot to stop nausea and gave me more to take home. It has helped but she still vomits when she is upset. I just have to try to keep her from getting upset. The insurance paid for most of the tests. I needed the tests to calm my mind, my cat needed the medication.

The team at Trupanion has been very professional and helpful. My 2 1/2 year old Maltese was diagnosed with Encephalitis and it's been very stressful and sad seeing her sick. I'm so thrilled that she is getting better every day and her happy, sweet personality is coming back!! It is a big relief knowing that she can get the care she needs without it being a huge financial burden. I recommend Trupanion to everyone I know who has pets and wants to do the very best for them!

Please do yourself a favor and don't waste your money. No claims were ever paid back for our puppy. It cost 47$ and ending the terms have taken us 2 weeks. Still no reply and a dispute to the bank on hold for 30 min. Very unprofessional !!! Stay away unless you can afford wasting money!!

Besides the fact that some money from this insurance company goes to ASPCA, they are a well run operation. With an old fashioned quality, it's easy to get a knowledgeable person on the line. They respond promptly and reliably to both phone and email requests. The amount they pay is less than what is charged in my location. But all in all, they are fair and you get your money's worth. Bottom line, good people and good company!

We sumitted two claims to embrace for our dog wo was quite sick. Finally we got a good diagnosis and our dog is now doing well. Embrace asked for more information on our dog's records from our vet, which were immediately provided. Our claims were processed quickly and efficiently. We received two checks from Embrace and we are now finished. They were excellent and quick to help us. We really appreciate all the help!

All of our family members with dogs use Healthy Paws. It is a wonderful company. We had used 2 other pet insurance companies before discovering Healthy Paws. Both were a huge disappointment.We have found Healthy Paws fees are reasonable and believe me the peace of mind is worth every penny. Our dog, a Cavalier, is diabetic. Needles, Vetsulin, blood work, etc. has been covered. (We have the 90% coverage plan.) A family member's German Shepherd had to have her spleen removed. They have 80% coverage. Cost was in the thousands and Healthy Paws paid. We are very grateful to Healthy Paws and their amazing staff. This is not a paid endorsement, but one from the heart.

The prompt approval and payments by Trupanion have been a huge help in the medical crisis that arose due to our dog Nina's cancer. Can't say enough as to how pleased we are at averting what could have been heartbreaking decisions on treatment. Fortunately NIna has responded well to surgery and chemothereapy, and her life has definitely been prolonged.
