Fast professional compassionate response by call center when I contacted them before going to a 24 hr vet hospital on a holiday weekend when my dog had a serious urgent medical problem.
Fast, professional, compassionate response by call center when I contacted them before going to a 24 hr vet hospital on a holiday weekend when my dog had a serious urgent medical problem. Never made a claim before and they explained everything I needed to know about coverage. Helped me stay focused on the medical problem. Highly recommended

Our lab.
Our lab. Mix had a large cancerous tumor in his liver. Our regular vet couldn’t do the surgery and recommended the University of Wisconsin up in Madison. They did the surgery and he is now cancer free. We feel very blessed because we love him very much. We are really thankful for Trupanion paying for much of the required surgery. When friends buy a new puppy we encourage the to get truepanion right away.

First claim
Unfortunately we filed a claim due to an ear infection. We didn’t want to file the claim. The process was easy. Just hope our premiums don’t sky rocket and increase next year.

Julie was incredibly helpful.
Julie was incredibly helpful. She went above and beyond to help me figure out some information as well as to ask me about my dog in the time the conversation was a bit lighter. She seemed to genuinely care about my pet. As for the insurance itself I have not had an experience with, but if it reflects what is being put out there by their workers I would assume it is great as well.
