This company delivers on promises
I had a vet checkup at 12 weeks and signed up the next day under a no waiting plan. The next morning my puppy got very ill. They covered the claim as they promised. It took a little effort but that is reasonable given it was 24 hours after I signed up.
I trust this company and am glad I signed up.

prompt caring service
First time with pet insurance after 5 dogs and wonder why I waited so long. Healthy Paws has responded promptly to my last 2 claims. Not only easy to deal with their customer support staff is courteous, knowledgable and easy to reach . There policies are clear and staff is easy available to answer questions. I recommend Healthy Paws to anyone thinking of pet insurance, and if you aren't thinking about it- you should. The price for insurance is minimal should you be faced with one serious illness .

Healthy Paws Stood By Me When it Mattered
My pug became deathly sick after being bitten/stung or exposed to some sort of allergen. I rushed her to the ER and transferred her to her vet the next day.
Healthy Paws promptly reviewed my claims and paid me back in a very timely manner. My Care Credit bill quickly became a distant memory and that felt great.
I was skeptical getting pet insurance but Healthy Paws made that all go away the first time I ever needed them. I thank them and would recommend them to others.

Healthy Paws saved our Sparks' life
There are only great things to say about Healthy Paws. They were concerned with Sparks' welfare, helpful, very quick to pay our large animal hospital bill and generally the best insurance company I've dealt with. Without Healthy Paws we wouldn't have been able to save our best friend.

Very Satisfied
I personally don't understand the negative reviews. I've never had VPI/Nationwide deny a claim and my dog has severe allergies and goes to the vet quite often. They even paid 100% for his allergy testing and his allergy shots which are expense. I couldn't be more pleased.

Easy to work with
Multiple claims were submitted at the same time to due misinformation in vet office. Once claims were submitted Trupanion staff worked with me to move claims quickly.

i was going to stop coverage because rates were going up --but forgot it--well our kcbaby got bit and inffected by something (cat squirrel?) and after days of 104 temp and emergency and vet care (over thanksgiving) i'm glad i did not stop coverage--bills ran $3500+ got my reimbursement quickly, and worth the coverage. wish i would have taken the drug coverage tho--kc had a lot of intravenous etc which was not covered but in the past years did not need. she had irritable bowel trouble overr the years and needed a lot of medical work with bills and these people paid and quick

Excellent Service!
Embrace recently responded in the expected time, particularly with reference to the many continued and unexpected visits for the same ailment that my pet appeared to be suffering from. We were with another insurance company for 15 years. The returns were OK, but not extensive. After 15 years, it came time for our two senior pet companions to leave us for doggy heaven. Before interviewing new breeders, we decided to first shop around for another insurance company, just to see what was out there after 15 years with 1 company. We selected Embrace because of the great reviews & the level of coverage offered.
We are currently extremely happy with Embrace. However, I would like to share that it was a bit more complicated to get started with this provider, than it had been with our previous provider, in part possibly due to additional health certification requirements required for each pet. In addition, at policy onset, there appeared to be some level of mixing-up our 2 new pets after we registered last year. (i.e. one had a hernia & one did not). The other element that may have confused the entire online system is that we visited our Vet directly from the breeder with both pets, for a no/charge health check for the breeder. The visit took place one day before the effective date of our Embrace policy. We turned in the paperwork to Embrace for the good of the order, and did not file a claim, nor did we ever intend to. We simply thought Embrace should have all paperwork from our Vet, for their records. In hindsight, this tiny detail may have confused the heck out of either the system or the claims representatives, because we began receiving automatic-response emails stating that the claim was outside of policy period & therefore not covered. Well, we were certainly aware that the initial paperwork we sent would not be covered, but maybe the rep on the other end of the email overlooked that tiny detail in the body of our email, and thought it was a claim. Thus what ensued initially was considerable back-and-forth-email-communication for over 2 months. Needless to say, we were not at all happy with the level of comprehension, especially with automatic-email replies, or with the long response time it was taking to clear up the matter. We thought that it could have been a failure to comprehend systems on our part, not realizing that systems generally cough up items received outside of their of established guidelines. So within that 2 month period, we bega
