Great Insurance Program, Skyrocketing Price
We have been using Pets Best for the last 5 years and are generally very happy with their program and customer service. However, because the cost of the policy has skyrocketed over the last 2 years, we are now questioning the cost/benefit of the program and will begin to look into other insurance programs.

Excellent Pet Insurance Plan
We are so pleased with our decision to use Healthy Paws as our pet insurance. We were uninsured with our last dog and emptied our savings account in an unsuccessful attempt to save her. We adopted Tucker our new dog in July 2013 and knew we needed to get him insured immediately to avoid this situation again. After reviewing many different plans we chose Healthy Paws based on their excellent reviews. Tucker had a few small claims over the past several years for skin and eye infections and Healthy Paws was always quick to respond with any questions we had and quick to reimburse us. This year Tucker was diagnosed with a cruciate ligament tear in his right knee. We were able to choose our own vet and schedule his surgery without worrying about the cost of his care. The process for submitting a claim is extremely simple because it only requires a picture of the invoice submitted through the Healthy Paws phone app. The total for the surgery was $4571 and we received a reimbursement check for $4104 within 8 days of submitting it (we chose the 90% coverage plan). We are so happy with our coverage and would highly recommend Healthy Paws pet insurance to anyone with a pet.

Just a terrific company with real people.
I had an unusual situation with my cat Skittles and I have to say that while I was happy with Healthy Paws up until Skittles, after Skittles I know I will never leave them. I found them to be a very compassionate and thoughtful company who took the time to listen to my situation with Skittles and it all ended very well. Highly recommended.

Great Company, Great Service
My Golden Retriever required eye surgery to remove an eyelash that was irritating to his cornea and causing his eye to tear. This was the first claim on his policy. A customer service representative made the necessary calls to obtain his medical records. Within a week, all five claims were processed and the checks were received a few days later.
I am very pleased with Healthy Paws!

A necessary supplement for your pet!
I had been researching pet insurance for a couple months prior to getting our puppy. After much analysis, I decided to go with embrace and I'm glad I did. Insurance companies have a stereotype of being cold, but that's not the case with embrace. Each member I've spoken to has been extremely personable and genuine. When calling to set up the policy, Peter was excellent in spending over 45 minutes with me on the phone to go over my options and help me choose the right plan for my dog.
I had some issues with my vet sending a claim (asked them 4 times, both over the phone and in person on different days). When I reached out to embrace about it, they were able to get my vet to send them the claim on the spot. In order to be fair and objective, my single critique would be reimbursement time. Though, since I've connected it to direct deposit, I've seen a better turnaround time.

Best insurance plan
I have 2 cats and used to use another insurance company who, after one of my cats had 2 issues - scratched eye [from his sister] and feline acne, raised his deductible rate for the next year! ASPCA has never done anything shady that like. When I have questions they're very helpful and knowledgeable. You can tell most of the reps have pets as they're very compassionate. I've never had any issues with them and am very happy.

Embrace saved our dogs life.
If we did not have Embrace Pet Insurance we would not have been able to afford the Liver Shunt diagnosis, treatments, and Surgery that saved our Yorkiepoo Samantha's life.The total cost was over $5500 and Embrace paid over $3600 of that over a 13 month period.

Efficient and Caring
I have just had to make my first claim with Healthy Paws, having bought insurance for my cat 5 years ago. I didn't know what to expect, but the service has exceeded my expectations by far. My cat was recently diagnosed with hyperthyroidism, and my vet recommended a radioactive iodine injection which is very expensive, but I felt was the best option.My vet's office faxed my cat's records on the day she went for her treatment, and all I had to do was scan and upload the itemized bill when she came home. Within a few days I got a personal email confirming that my claim had been approved for the full amount (minus deductible). I was amazed how easy this was, and how friendly the email had been as they also wanted me to let them know how my cat was.
Two days later I got another follow up email, again just inquiring my cat was doing (happily she's just fine).
Having wondered whether I might have to gear up to fight for my claim, I could not have been more pleasantly surprised. It could not have been an easier and I really appreciated the personal experience. I'm happy to recommend Healthy Paws to anyone who is considering pet insurance.

Frisco is now 12 years old, and fortunately hasn't had a lot of medical issues. I spent a fortune on vet bills for my previous pooch, and so I bought ASPCA pet insurance as soon as we adopted Frisco at a year old. I've probably spent more on premiums than I have claimed, BUT that's what insurance is: you buy peace of mind....because you never know what's around the corner. I recently claimed for ongoing skin/allergy issues, including surgery to remove two lesions that were benign, and was impressed how quickly the claim was settled. Overall, claims have been settled claims promptly, the ASPCA Pet Insurance web site makes it easy to submit and track claims, and I've found their customer service to be very responsive. Thank you ASPCA Pet Ins!
