Yesterday I had to put down one of my best friend, a member of our family. He was the dog that even dog haters loved. He was half great dane and half boxer so he was big but, so loving no one was scared of him. He died of cancer but thanks to trupanion we were able to tried everything to save him. We didn't have to think about weather we could afford the treatment because trupanion was there for us the whole way. They even paid the hospital directly so we did have to lay out large sums of money. I will spend today and many day to come crying over my lost but, at least I know I was able to give one of my best friend, a member of my family, the best care money could buy.

Such great customer service!
I couldn't be happier with the service I have received from Healthy Paws. They have a great app that keeps the entire process of submitting claims super-convenient. My "senior" dog tore both his knees within a very short time of one another, causing two major surgeries. I was so impressed with how quickly Healthy Paws processed the claims. They even checked in on how my dog was healing, and I believe they genuinely care about the welfare of animals. I was so stressed by my dog's injuries; it was a relief knowing that I didn't have to be stressed out by the expenses of surgery, thanks to our insurance with Healthy Paws.

Amazing Customer Service
I was recommended to Healthy Paws by a fellow dog owner and I happened to receive a discount through my employer so we chose them initially. As a first time dog owner of a notoriously-prone to health problems breed, I wanted to be careful. From the beginning, setting up my account, submitting all of my dog's records, and submitting claims have been a breeze. Queso at first showed signs of a skin allergy which we had to submit claims for and everything was turned around fast and easy. The next scare was pnemonia - which required 2 days of hospitalization and a lot of care. Not only did they process the expensive claim fast, but they followed up with a personal message inquiring about Queso's health. Thank you Health Paws!

Very satisfied customer
I recently submitted 2 claims. One was for dental cleaning and the other was for overnight stays at the vet for joint issues with my dog. I received $200 reimbursement for a $500 claim and $175 for a $300 claim. I am very happy with my costs for my pet. I have to mention that their customer service is impeccable. They are always so helpful and very patient.

3000k + for Trupanion Pet Ins. over 3years = zero$
I bought this insurance for my three cats (two were still young and one a kitten). After my vet has submitted claim forms with all information clearly stated...we still are waiting for claim reimbursements. All I've received from Trupanion is a $70 (that's right...SEVENTY DOLLARS

Pet Insurance when you need it
We have two pups covered by ASPCA. One is 14+ and the other 7+. They are on different plan levels and each seems to work. There have been fairly long periods when I haven't put in a claim--even when I could have--because the amounts were small and I'm terrible about paperwork. ASPCA has actually had staff call us to remind us of what we can claim! This past year we've had more claims than usual and the response has been good. My older pup now has cancer and some big bills are about to go in. So I will be waiting to see how they are handled. But to date, we've been quite satisfied. I'll come back with a "10" if the reimbursements are fair.

I'm so happy I enrolled my pet with Healthy Paws!
I don’t typically write reviews, but was compelled to do so after my dog, Lexi, needed surgery for a torn ACL. I had heard horror stories of pet insurance companies and the nightmares others have endured in getting refunded the bare minimum for medical needs. I was expecting I would need to spend several hours on the phone to get everything in order for a minimum reimbursement. I truly did figure they would give me all kinds of run-around and excuses for why everything was excludable under the insurance plan. Well none of that happened with Healthy Paws!! OMG, they took care of everything so seamlessly, quickly and most importantly stress-free that I just want to say – THANK YOU!! THANK YOU!! THANK YOU!! I was so stressed out and worried about Lexi, I couldn’t think about anything else. They took care of the vet bill and did so with very minimal effort on my part. The vet submitted the procedure and billing and that was pretty much it. They reimbursed me back almost the entire amount of an over $4,000 bill. I just couldn’t believe how wonderful they are. The reimbursement was in the mail before I could even start thinking about the bill – I was still nursing Lexi back to health and she was all I could think about. And to boot, they even sent me a follow-up email a few weeks after the surgery just to check how she was doing. Nothing else! No billing questions. No, sorry we need more paperwork. Tim, from the Claws and Paws section, sent me an email that was simply asking “Hey, how’s she doing”. I can’t say enough good things about Healthy Paws and my experience. They really took care of Lexi when I needed them most. THANK YOU!!!
