Embrace is ace!!! Everything is made easy to follow after submitting a claim as they have a portal site. They are very efficient and professional. My claim checks were received promptly and there are explanations for those approved and those not which are far and few between. My other dog is covered by VPI insurance and I wish I could switch my dog to Embrace. I tell every pet owner to get this insurance.

We got the insurance for our mix breed (rescue) as soon as we decided that we were going to adopt him. He had sustained a pretty bad injury when he was a puppy and were told that he was healing well. That was not the case and he needed surgery, Healthy Paws did not cover it as it was pre-existing. They also told us that any future problems that would be tied to that surgery would not be covered. That is why we asked our surgeon to do a full evaluation once he had fully recovered to have medical records showing that he was fully recovered to not have Healthy Paws claim that it was pre-existing. Since then we had some ER visits due to explosive diarrhea, a torn ACL and more. They always covered everything. They are an insurance after all, a responsible one, but if there is a chance it was pre-existing they will push for that. You can't really blame them. Just make sure you don't forget that while they are here to help they also will make sure that things outside of their coverage do not get covered.

After adopting my hot diggity dog i decided to invest in pet insurance to ease my mind. The adoption shelter offered free thirty day petplan insurance. The reason why i didnt stick with them even though they gave me a discount is the fact that there waa no wellness coverage, and the co insurance is different between acident and illness versus specialist visits. I loved the fact that embrace allowed me to submit claims easilu, either email, fax or online via uploading. In addition i completed the ortho exam which i got a response within twenty four hours. Calling customer servicr was pleasant, enthusiastic staff. They also respond email within 24 hrs. My first wellness claim was reviewed within 48hrs and it is currently being proceeced via direct deposit.

After adopting my third dog, I started researching pet insurance companies. I'm so glad I did because it led me to Healthy Paws. Their high ratings are completely justified. My dogs are young. My oldest just turned 4, the middle guy just turned 2 and the baby just turned 1. They email you within a couple of days letting you know what they are covering and a few days after that, you get a reimbursement check. So easy and stress free. Having a sick pet is stressful enough. Knowing your insurance company isn't going to give you a hard time is a load off. Very straight forward. If they say they cover it, it's covered. My vet is so impressed with Healthy Paws, he is now recommending them to his other clients. And talk about friendly? Such nice people work there. Their emails are so sweet and personal. They know your pets names and always hope they feel better soon. I picked the company that had the highest customer ratings, and I totally agree with the masses. I'm very happy and proud to add my praise to Healthy Paws.

I've had Healthy Paws since my dog was a puppy. I have been nothing but overly pleased with them. When my dog needed surgery on both of his elbows I had no hesitation going forward with the procedure because I knew Healthy Paws had my back! Their customer service is world class and they could not make the claim process easier!

We purchased this insurance on a friends recommendation and are so happy we did. We got a Brittney Spaniel puppy in December. And in March he had eaten something that didn't agree with him. He was at the Vet's for 3 days while they tried to figure out what was in his stomach. Luckily he didn't need surgery but had many x-rays and fluids. Healthy Paws made it really easy to file my claims and I had my check in had 10 days later. I would definitely recommend them to anyone with a pet.

I am happy to report that not only was Trupanion efficient and fair, but they were exceptional at keeping me informed of the progress of the claim. I wish that my own health insurance company was so transparent.

I have two dogs and they have Embrace Pet Insurance since 2010. Any time I have submitted a claim, Embrace is quick to notify me that it has been received and always gives me a time frame until I hear back regarding the claim. It is usually within 2 weeks .They have always been extremely fair and honest. I appreciate the communication during the review process as well as after payment has been sent. My Golden recently had an UTI and possible thyroid issues. There were numerous tests taken and so pleased to see all were covered. It is comforting to know that what they promise when you sign up is what they deliver. I absolutely would recommend them to anyone who has a pet.
