Love
I always thought that love was personal until we got to know some of the people at Embrace. You see, God saw fit to entrust us two of his special creations that were in need of parents willing to go the extra mile for them. One was diagnosed with inoperable cancer, the other was on the verge of losing both kidneys until an amazing surgeon took a bold chance. Today Tia, our 9 1/2 year old German shepherd and her buddy Holly, an 8 1/2 pound Ocicat romp around the house as if nothing was wrong with them. Love is never giving up. And love, is the people at Embrace that never fail to ask how they are doing and are we supporting your efforts? More than just an insurance company looking for an annual check - they care and they are always by your side when the road ahead seems difficult. I think I know a little about love, having written three books about the love and pain of pet loss and the need for believing that even the impossible is possible. Just ask Embrace, they were by our side in each instance.

Definitely worth the money!
Spent $97 for the yearly coverage and got back $800 for the vet bill. Money well spent!

I can't say enough good things
My two pets have used the insurance many times over the last three years. They saved me a lot of money. I don't always need it but when I do it is very helpful. I recommend them to everyone I know that is buying a puppy or has a pet!

Absolutely My Best Choice!
As my dog Sadie began to get get older, I started thinking about getting pet insurance. I did a great deal of research before I chose Healthy Paws, and I never regretted my choice! My baby developed a number of issues down the road including cancer, for which she needed surgery. Her medical bills began stacking up and I could never have handled them without Healthy Paws. They are honest, straightforward, and quick. No hidden fees or statements. I paid my deductible, my vet faxed over my claim form for me, and the check came directly to me within7-10 days. They paid 70% of the bill just as they said. A couple of times I had to call with a question, and each time a very nice lady answered the phone immediately. No recordings or voice mail! My vet's office was so impressed they stopped recommending the plan they always did, and now recommend Healthy Paws!

Such Peace of Mind
I have two American Staffordshire Terriers, the most incredible pets in the world. They play very physical. About 3 years ago Roscoe was limping one day and was diagnosed with a torn ACL in his left knee, I was terrified because of the costs that would ensue. I had purchased Trupanion Insurance for Roscoe as recommended by my Vet a year and half earlier. The operation came to approximately 4000.00. There was no way I would have been able to come up with that out of pocket and wait for reimbursement after all was said and done. All other insurance companies make you pay first then re-imburse you. Roscoe would have had to stay lame. Trupanion paid all expenses directly to the doctor except for the 10% Deductible. The Doctor informed me that the other knee would probably give out within the next year or two, well, exactly that did happen, approximately 1 year later. The experience with Trupanion was exactly the same, outstanding. They constantly reached out during and after the operations to make sure Roscoe was ok with compassion, reassurance & professional. All correspondence was done in a timely fashion. Trupanion is without a doubt the best there is, second to none. It's like an extension of Roscoe's family.

Excellent service
My 8 year old rescue has acquired an infection that has been resistant to the usual antibiotic treatments. We have received reimbursement for the cost less 20% ($216.43) deposited in a timely manner into our checking account for the initial treatment. We have subsequently had to retreat him with daily antibiotic injections daily for 10 days. That claim was just submitted. Based on my experience with Embrace I expect that next week 80% of that expense will be deposited in my account, as well. I'll follow up with another comment after that claim is settled.

Very good insurance!
My dog had a biopsy done and Embrace covered a good amount of the final cost. Their customer service agents are excellent. Thank you.

I am dissapointed in VPI/Nationwide
I have had VPI for nine years for my doggie. During those 9 years I have summited many claims and they pay some but some of the time they don't. At one point I stopped sending claims and just kept it active in case of an accident or illness. Now my pup is nine and in need of medical care and I summited a large claim of about $500, they didn't even pay a hundred of it, I am seriously considering canceling, due to his condition I can't go to another company, so now I am stuck paying for most of the medical bills.
