Trupanion has been wonderful to our dogs.
Trupanion has been wonderful to our dogs. We had to say goodbye to our 19 year old terrier poodle, Sammy Mac, this past summer. Trupanion was included as part of his adoption 13 years ago from the SPCA we adopted him from and heâs had coverage ever since. From the first day he came home to us, to his last moments on the Earth, Trupanion played a part ensuring that he stayed healthy, got the best care possible when he was sick, was well looked after on his last visit to the Vet, and even worked out arrangements afterwardsâ¦I canât express how grateful I am to all the amazing people I have had the pleasure of dealing with at Trupanion. To the agents who took our calls and emails, pre-approved claims, handled all the paper work, followed up, made sure payments were handled quickly and smoothly, and supported us in some of our saddest moments, thank-you all with all of my heart for taking such great care of our Sammy Mac.

I also appreciate that Trupanion has a dedicated team (as I understand it) that helps with breeder questions with regard to coverage. I actually discontinued my repro rider on one of my dogs when I learned that it would have to remain with the policy of my dog rather than cancelling it if I didn't need to use it. I truly hope that that has changed, as that coverage was prohibitive if I had to keep it until I cancelled the entire policy. I've been told several months ago,
that that has been remedied.
