Very reliable

Very reliable and pay out on claims is very good, very easy to submit a claim also. Would be nice if pay on both Flea prevention and Heartgard in same year not just one or the other since this is preventive care. Also some pets are on prescription food would be nice if this was also covered.

SUPERB PET INSURANCE

We (and our little Mini Schnauzer) are truly grateful for the wonderful service we've received from PetsBest. The turnaround time on reimbursement has been very timely. We highly recommend all pet owners to avail themselves of the peace of mind having this coverage provides.

Woof

Woof great eas of doing business wish everyone had it we had a major surgery acl tear and other issue they never oncease questioned the procedure of her care and when the Dr. Being a board certified orthopedic surgeon had faxed in everything as requested and explanation of the procedue we were paid back at 90 percent as stated in the policy. Again she is great and done wonderful on her rehab.

Scottie’s in good hands !!

It is never easy having a sick loved one, even our furry loved ones! Knowing my dog is getting the best medical care because he is covered by Embrace makes my heart swell with how luck I am to have him and Embrace as his medical insurance. Embrace you are the best!

Nationwide Pet Insurance has been one of the best decisions I've made

I got this pet insurance for my dog when he was just a puppy to help cover the "puppy" bills and decided to continue with it through his life on a high deductible plan for emergencies. It has been worth every penny. There are years that I have paid for it and (luckily) I haven't needed it and there have been years were it has truly saved me in emergency situations. I'd recommend this to anyone with a pup!

Takes a long time to get payment from you!!

I have been with VPI for 11 years with my two cats. Prior to you taking over the program, my re-imbursement was within a few days. With you, it is always close to a month. Also, Dolly is in need of I 131 Iodine treatment, as she is allergic to the medication. When I called to verify that VPI would pay $425, the agent was less than helpful. I am still wondering how the policy works, and I don't think that is fair to me. Our human health has pre-approval--why couldn't she just tell me that $425 would be paid or not. It's not going to affect my decision to do the 131 treatment. I enjoy having the pet insurance, however, I think you could have better customer service. And, I would recommend you to people, as I am not aware of any competition you may have. It comes in handy when something goes wrong with your pet!

Great insurance with a slow turnaround time

It's great to have insurance on our pups because they tend to somehow get hurt a lot. My only complaint is having to cover costs and then get paid back versus having a card to use. We also have to submit so much claim information and the turnaround time takes forever. With our other dog we have had no issues, however with our pup we haven't gotten all the claims resolved yet and we are waiting for reimbursement. I'm glad to be working with Nationwide and highly recommend it, but just know you come out of pocket and the reimbursement takes a month or so.

Bait and Switch

I specially signed up because my dog had allergies. Claims were paid( never in a timly fashion I had to have my vets send paperwork numerous times) for a couple of years until she had a serious surgery. She was approved claim were paid and then we were told her skin allegies or anything related was a pre existing condition and now claims are being denied. This is why I got the insurance in the first place and even asked if it was covered. We also have been denied a claim Nationwide claimed it was a duplicate. It was a secondary surgery to correct complications and the amounts were completly different as was the paperwork. The attention to detail and poor excuses are frustrating. Also my dog had a chipped tooth once and is now denied any dental. Not all things are tied together.
