Claims process was quick and easy

Pets Best processed the claim quickly (received claim in fewer than 5 days), and they were very understanding and caring about my cat's treatable diagnosis. The claim paperwork was easily to follow, too.

Great and quick service

I got pet insurance for my Bernese Mountain dog because I heard stories from other owners about how prone this breed is to injuries or to eating foreign objects and needing surgery. I never thought I’d have to use it because my dog got hit by a car. In a very stressful time, I was worried my experience with Embrace would be like my experiences with car insurance, home insurance, etc. I was glad to find it was NOTHING like my other bad experiences. The staff is kind, patient, and knowledgeable. They say claims can take 10-15 days but it only took 3 business days for them to start reviewing/accepting my claims. It doesn’t feel like they’re just trying to make money off of you, it feels like they are happy to be able to help provide healthcare for your pet. They’re able to explain to you exactly why your premium is what it is, and I really appreciate that transparency. I highly recommend pet insurance for everyone, but especially insurance through Embrace.

They have your back

They have your back during your time of need!! My Doberman had a spinal injury which required surgery and an MRI totaling $5000+. I had to submit my first ever claim for my Dobie with them on Saturday Nov 3rd and received confirmation they would be taking care of the costs outside of my deductible and co-pay by Nov 7th. So technically it took 2 business days!! Ability to have direct deposit set up means I’ll have my funds available to pay everything off well before it’s due. They give you peace of mind. Highly recommend!!

Quick and easy claim process

This was the first time I ever had to use the pet insurance. I was not sure what to except, but the claim process was quick and easy. I hope I do not have to use insurance again for a long time, but I am glad I had it.

Claims processing should be 10 days or less. Nationwide stretches the promptness of its payment processing.

Fair, understanding and helpful

Trupanion have always been fair understanding, helpful, open 24 hours. Also Alan and Kreanna were very polite and gracious, despite my being highly emotional over my pets illness and unfairly accusatory towards them.
