Nationwide is not on your side
Like others here, I have seen VPI change for the worse since it was acquired by Nationwide. I don't even bother to submit routine claims anymore... they always find some excuse not to pay them. I'm here on the site to find something else.

If I had a tail it would be wagging!
We have already submitted two claims the first claimed there was a minor glitch which was taken care of and one phone call. Mbrace customer service are patient professional and genuinely seem to care. Turnaround time is very good/short. I was worried The Wellness Plan would not turn out to be as good as advertised but I was wrong it is just as billed. I am confident that Embrace will be there for us when we need them from the All Too Short Journey with our dogs. I have already highly recommended and Brace to both of my daughters and two of my friends and the owner of a local doggy day care.

Love Embrace
We have tried several other companies before coming to Embrace. We find their monthly payments to be very reasonable and our reimbursements for our costs have been quick and fair. They always explain what they paid and what wasn't paid and why. Their customer service is amazing and yes, I have used it more than once. They are quick to assist and help solve any issues that you may have. Everyone I have emailed or spoken to has been pleasant and caring and a pleasure to work with. We highly recommend Embrace and are so glad we switched to them several years ago.

Amazing Service - Less Stress
Our pup Luna ate a sewing needle, and it was a disaster. We had to take her in for emergency surgery and we didnt know what to expect. It was probably on of the most stressful situations we had to deal with. The final bill was about $3k, but healthy paws was there to help us out.. They made it so easy. I sent the documents and they were reviewed within a couple days. The check was sent immediately. They even followed up to see how Luna was doing. I highly recommend Healthy Paws for their speedy and excellent customer service. They made a stressful situation much more manageable

Healthy Paws is BEYOND amazing!
Healthy Paws is absolutely amazing! I signed up both my Italian Greyhounds a little over a year ago. I initially debated on whether or not I should get insurance for them because both of them were healthy, but since I'm a teacher, I knew I couldn't afford large vet bills if they ever did become sick or injured. Thank God Almighty that I did! A few weeks ago, a mass was found in one of my dog's lungs. It needed to be removed and biopsied. Thank goodness she is Cancer free!! However, if she had not been, I would've had to figure out how to pay for Chemo and Radiation as well. My Shiloh is only 7 years young. :) If I had not had insurance for her, I would've been approximately $7,500 and that would not have included chemo and radiation. That was only for tests like xrays, CT scan, surgery, and a 2 day hospital stay following surgery. Having always had healthy pups, I never imagined that vet bills could be so increadibly high. Being a teacher, if I did not have Healthy Paws, I would've had to go through the heartache of knowing for a fact that I could not afford not even a quarter of that amount for her care. I would've felt guilty for the rest of my life knowing that I was not able to provide proper care for her. Thank goodness for Healthy Paws! Healthy Paws processed my claims so very quickly! I submitted them right under a minute right online. I couldn't believe how easy it was! I also received their checks in the mail very quickly as well. They truly have been with me every step of the way. They will be there every step of the way for you too. They truly mean what they say. By the way, if you email them about a question you may have, they get back to you sometimes within minutes. Really?!? Wow! They even sent me an email today asking me how my little girl was feeling after her major surgery (one of her lung lobes had to be removed,,, incision is 8 inches long... that's HUGE for a 22 lb dog). If you are debating on whether or not to get insuramce for your pups or cat or which company you should go with, do it and trust no one else but Healthy Paws. They are worth every single penny to have them by your side. Healthy Paws... you're the best!!Thank you so much for the kindness and concern you have shown both me and my Shiloh! Shiloh and Khaleesi will be Healthy Paws pups for life!

Very Cooperative, Excellent Experience
When processing a claim along with a pre-approval for continued treatment, it was a pleasure to work with the Embrace staff. They were very helpful in explaining what they needed from me. They were very cooperative throughout the process and approved the claim and pre-approval. I appreciate having the pre-approval process, so it's clear early on if continued treatment will be covered. It was quite a relief to have that approval first and allow us to focus on treatment and getting our dog better.

Must pay deductible for EVERY ailment
Premiums have continued to increase (started at $40/month), now 4 years later they are over $75/month. They say as soon as you hit your deductible they cover 90%, but that's for EVERY ailment. My Pug had to have surgery on her ear, but it wasn't covered even though she's had tremendous issues with her ears. They considered it different and so we had to pay the deductible AGAIN. She's now had to have two surgeries and neither was covered. I tried to cancel but was convinced to stay last year because we had already hit "all our deductibles" but they just returned our latest surgery claims as denied due to needing to pay another deductible. I have paid $3,000 in premiums plus thousands in vet bills they didn't cover. I wish I had self-insured, would have been cheaper!

Amazing service
I am so grateful to have Embrace Pet Insurance on my two dogs! I never hesitate to take them to the vet, I get quick responses from online help, reimbursement within a week, it's absolutely perfect. I haven't had any emergency situations yet, but I feel confident in Embrace to assist and aid me if a situation should arise.
