I have had 2 other pet insurance companies for my dogs in the past, including Trupanion. Healthy Paws has been by far the best experience I have had. They allowed my senior pet to join at an still great rate. I find it easy to communicate with them through the phone and email. I downloaded the app and it is a wonderful way of updating payment methods and submitting claims. They follow up promptly and checks arrive back quickly. I recommended the insurance to my mom to use on her dog and she is having a great experience with them as well. They follow up after procedures to see how your pet is doing. Approachable, modern and easy. Highly recommended it.

I've been very impressed with the way my claims are handled.It's very fast and when I have something I don't understand about Angelina's (my cat) policy, all my questions are explained to me which I really appreciate.

Well, we got a puppy and our vet suggested we get insurance. In thought it was a good idea but I had no idea how it worked. I read reviews, created spreadsheets and picked Embrace hoping I would never need it. 1 month after getting Embrace, my puppy needed a surgery for a urinary issue. The same year, she developed a mass under the skin and needed another surgery. My dog is now 1.5 years old, had 2 procedures and doing fine. great service all the time with all of my claims

I signed on with Healthy Paws back in 2011 when my Lab was around 3 years years old, never knowing that 2 1/2 years later when he got bone cancer that we would be spending over $30,000 in treatments over 13 months. We were able to give him the best care with top notch specialists without having to worry about cost. We paid our bill, submitted our invoice by either email or the Healthy Paws app and we received our check within a week. Sadly he lost his battle in January 2015. Six months later I adopted a Lab/Border Collie mix at 8 weeks old and insured him the next day. He is now a year and a half old. 5 weeks ago he developed a horrible cough and was vomiting. Two vet visits and 2 specialist visits in the span of 2 weeks running tests, X-rays, endoscopy, multiple medications and over $3,600, they covered 90% of his bills and I received the checks in less than a week. I hear so many stories of people that have had to put their animals down because they were unable to pay for surgery or treatment. I will never go without insurance for my pets. I am so grateful to this company not only for their great insurance but for the care and compassion that they show us and our pets. To date I have 3 cats and a dog and they are all insured with Healthy Paws. Believe me when I say that you cannot go wrong with them, they really are the best out there.

My beloved 11 year old Standard Poodle, Merlin suddenly developed a melanoma on his gum which required extensive immediate surgery and follow up vaccines. I am retired and live on a comfortable but fixed income. If it weren't for Embrace I would be in a financial pickle right now. Instead, I do have Embrace Pet Insurance and I am happy to say they paid 80% of the over $7,000 vet bill. They were helpful when I called to inquire about coverage and the claims were processed and my checks received in a very reasonable amount of time. Thank you Embrace. Merlin has recovered from the surgery and is thriving, happy and once again healthy.

The Vet Clinic faxed the claim and Trupanion e-mailed me immediately that they were reviewing the claim. Within the next 3-4 days they emailed me that claim was approved and check was on its way. This was a 4K surgery and Trupanion paid the 90%. I was ecstatic! Anytime I have called Trupanion they have been very professional and exhibit a true caring for animals. I have had many pets and this is the first time I have purchased pet insurance. I would recommend Trupanion to any pet owner.

My dog Nikki swallowed a quarter and needed an endoscopy to remove it. It was found by accident during an x-ray for back pain. After the endoscopy she developed esophagitis and pneumonia. She needed to be hospitalized for a week.After numerous visits to the hospital she is finally well. I don't know what I would have done without Pets Best insurance. They paid the claim which was almost five thousand dollars. I had peace of mind that I was able to get the best care for Nikki and never had to worry about paying for it.
