Looking for any excuse to not insure your claim
Our precious 1-year-old cat deteriorated very quickly within a few days. After putting it to sleep, we got a blood test result back that he had high amounts of the FIP virus. Healthy Paws refused to insure our claim, claiming that he had a pre-existing condition of having trouble walking with his hind legs, which the vets said was cerebellar hypoplasia. Even though the vets said it was something else, Healthy Paws was quick to point out that because of this "condition" which was present during our waiting period, they cannot insure our claim. Our cat clearly had an illness, but because they claimed there was a pre-existing condition that didn't necessarily have to do with the virus (with no medical proof), they refused to reimburse our thousands of dollars to watch our cat die. They went against our vet reports to pinpoint that single condition to not insure our cat.

Great Customer Service
After accruing serious medical bills with a sick cat I decided it was time to invest in healthcare- so glad I did it and so glad I went with Embrace. They have prompt and helpful customer service and competitive prices.
The cost you pay for a pet also goes down annually if they are in good health. Also they are great and processing claims in a timely manner.
I most certainly recommend Embrace for any petowner who cares about their pet .

Fast claim return and customer service
I have had Embrace pet insurance for several years now and my cat was recently diagnosed with diabetes, so he is having regular vet checks, tests, and expensive insulin. I have had 4 claims in the past couple of weeks, and once they had the diagnosis confirmed with the vet, all the claims were processed in a couple of days. I emailed customer service a couple of times when I first submitted the claims and was always emailed back promptly, and within 12-24 hours. The funds were deposited directly into my bank account which is great and very convenient. In addition I was emailed (a personal email) after all the claims were deposited to make sure that I received them all. I gave the rating a 9/10 only because I dont give 10/10 because I believe that everything, no matter how good, has room for improvement. I have no complaints and only positive feedback for Embrace. The only think I would say that I noticed could be improved is the speed of the links on the website. Im not sure why it takes so long to go between pages - and it isnt "long" but longer than normal (in this instantaneous digital age).

Professional and honest
Embrace is a trustworthy business. They do what they say they will do and honor the terms of their policies—not every pet insurance company is so reliable. I signed up for a policy for my 11-year-old lab just over a year ago. I didn't even think I'd be able to find an affordable policy for a dog his age, but Embrace was willing to do it as long as they had knowledge of preexisting conditions and we had a written agreement there would be no coverage for those conditions. Sounded wise to me and time has proved it smart. The particular employee I've been dealing with at Embrace (first initial: J ... knows her stuff) walked us through the process of obtaining records and establishing a list ofthose conditions. Knowing what's covered and what won't be, ahead of time has been a big comfort. Over my first year with the policy there have been 3 or 4 claims and the company did exactly what I expected it to, each time. Reimbursement was prompt and accurate. The rate went up about the amount I expected it to for the second year. Knowing in advance what will be covered and what won't for your pet is a wise approach and removes the potential for misunderstanding. Happy to recommend Embrace.

Finnegan's Happy!
He's happy because he knows that now he can see his very smart vet as often as he needs her because there's help out there. Vet bills seem to have become astronomically high but ASPCA coverage is just what it promises to be--fair and reasonable.I've has dogs all my life and this is the first time I've bought insurance..well worth it.

Healthy Paws is hands down the best out there!
Healthy Paws has been a lifesaver! My little boston terrier is only 1.5 years old but has run into some serious eye and tummy issues. Healthy Paws has been so helpful, and submitting claims and getting reimbursements has been a breeze! The whole process from submission to reimbursement takes about a week and their app is super easy to use. I've never had any issues with them and they've always been so great - I can't recommend them enough!

Health Paws- more than just pet insurance!
I did a lot of research before purchasing this policy for my puppy, Lexie and Healthy Paws had the best coverage for what I was looking for. I had a sheltie (Tara) before Lexie and when Tara developed cancer, I wanted to be able to give her the best care possible- which I did and she lived 4 more happy years. But the cost of that care was overwhelming. When I got Lexie, I knew that I wanted to give her the same great care when the time came, and that was the main reason that I purchased Healthy Paws insurance. I never thought that, even before Lexie was 2 years old, she would be attacked by two vicious dogs, suffering very serious injuries. Thank goodness for Healthy Paws- my little girl is recovering very well and not only has Healthy Paws already paid all of our claims to date, but they even sent a note just to see how she was doing and sending her a big hug. I am so glad that they are with us on this journey. Sincerely, Michelle
