I never had pet insurance in the past; always thought it might be a good idea just never got around to it. About three years ago I saw an offer via USAA for Embrace and I jumped on it. After two years without any serious illnesses or injuries I started questioning whether I really needed it. Then it happened. Now within the span of a year we have been through hemorrhagic gastroenteritis with a 3-day stay in the ICU to a torn ACL needing surgical repair. Embrace has been wonderful, covering everything and handling the claims clearly and expeditiously. I will never think twice again and highly recommend them without reservation.

Embrace is quick to reimburse and approve the claims. When your dog get sick, you just want them to be healthy again, and with Embrace, I have the piece of doing it.

I recently had to take my year old bulldog to get surgery on his eyes and not only was the procedure covered, but they also sent me a message after his surgery to check up on him. I bought pet insurance for both of my cats early when my wife and I adopted both of them. Many people were joking that why would I get insurance for my pets? Reason being is I have heard way too many horror stories of people not being able to afford the appropriate care for their fur babies should any emergency situation occur. Reading the reviews online about all the companies it was very overwhelming with all of the choices and pros/cons. After reading countles reviews I picked HealthyPaws. The sign up process was very easy and was able to customize our coverage. Jump forward to January 20th, 2017. Our 4 year old kitty, Pixie, had stopped eating and was losing weight and started vomiting. We rushed her to the emergency room that night and they immediately started looking at her and then drafted up a proposal of procedures which totaled about $1200 just out of the gate. With Healthy Paws I didn't even bat an eye as I knew 90% was going to be covered. I called the 800 number to verify the coverage and they said it will all be covered and to rest easy. Long story short, 3 days later and another $2000 we had a feeding tube put in and Pixie is much more at ease and resting at home and recovering. Submitting my claim was super easy. I snapped pictures of the complete invoice and 2 days later I was notified that it was completed and a check will be send in a few days. 2 days ago I received the check and only had to pay $600 out of pocket for $4000 worth of services. Coverage has been sufficient and easy to manage. Have not been given any problems yet on claims and they've been paid quickly. I feel the price is reasonable and the customer service I receive when I call or email is great.

I LOVE EMBRACE. My Golden Retriever was diagnosed at age 3 with osteosarcoma (bone cancer). Jack had surgery to remove his front right leg and he is now a happy tripawd. Embrace quickly processed all of the vet bills as well as the oncology bills and I could not be happier with the service. Every time I call, I am treated with respect, compassion and with excellent service. Embrace is better than my own human health insurance. You cannot go wrong with this company!

I have had Healthy Paws pet insurance on both my kitties since adopting them a year and a half ago. Until now our claims have been relatively limited though all were handled very well. Then just a few weeks ago our Finn broke his leg and it was followed by expensive surgery. I was extremely impressed with how quickly and completely our claims were processed. The coverage was excellent, including all the blood tests, radiographs, medications and supplies along with the many other charges related to the surgery. And the speed with which our claim was handled was impressive considering how complex it was. It doesn't matter the extent of the claim, Healthy Paws is right on top of it and takes care of it promptly. And the claims are easy to submit too! Healthy Paws is a fantastic partner in my pets' healthcare and I recommend it highly.
