I decided t purchase a policy through Embrace because it seemed to have the most positive reviews. After purchasing, my puppy needed his 2nd set of shots. I submitted the claim and within ~48 hrs, I received a message stating my claim had been reviewed and approved with reimbursement check en route. If this is the type of exemplary service I'm to continue to receive, I'm certainly glad I went with this company.

Our 2 year old Pharaoh hound has been on Embrace since he cam home with us. Luckily, nothing Major but we had to file claims for a swallowed foreign object, a UTI and some allergies that get bad from time to time. I've filed claims myself and also had the vet file directly. It's easy and quick either way. I'm looking to add another Dog to the family and I definitely will add them to the policy for the piece of mind of knowing a significant bill is budget-able. Thanks! I have have this insurance for over 12 years when my dog was simply a puppy. I have never lapsed in insurance so he has always been covered. Last year, my dog came down with Cushings, a type of cancer. He has been undergoing treatment and requires expensive blood tests until it is controlled. His new insurance coverage started last month. When I put in a claim, hoping to get some money back since I do have insurance, the rep. kindly informed me that because a new policy has been started his condition is considered pre-existing and is no longer covered. In order for him to be covered again, he would have to be condition free for 120 days..before they will pay again. THIS IS UTTERLY DISGUSTING. DON'T GET THIS INSURANCE COVERAGE OR YOU MAY BE VERY SORRY.

First time having pet insurance. Embrace has been quick, helpful and communicative with helping me figuring out the process and has responded to questions I have to their emails promptly within a few hours to the next business day. The biggest struggle so far has been the waiting period and the medical review I requested for two of my four cats. As soon as they had the information they sent me an email, explaining their findings based on each cat's medical history. About the only down side is their policy for preexisting conditions but that's insurance. I have one old cat with a list of conditions that are not eligible for coverage- surprisingly, most of the exclusions are only temporary for a few months to a year and only a few permanent exclusion. And I have one cat middle age cat that tested positive for FIV. As he is FIV positive he is not eligible for medical coverage but he qualifies for full accident coverage and wellness exams. Even with the exclusions, what is covered is still pretty decent and when it comes to pet bills, every little bit counts. So despite the not so thrilling news having to navigate around and cover for pre-existing health conditions, I am pleased and look forward to a long happy relationship (or as happy as a relationship one can have with their health insurance) with Embrace.
