Lives up to its name
Pets Best, for me, has been the best insurance I've found for my dogs. Submitting claims has been quick and easy. Customer Service has been extremely helpful. I get to talk to a real human and they are so kind and patient. They take the time to find the right answers and even call back when necessary. Reimbursements take time, but they update me on the process. I never felt ignored. Having a 16 yr old in kidney failure was hard and having to say goodbye was harder, so when I needed time to put through his last claims, I was treated with kindness. I can't say enough about Pets Best. They truly are the best.

Heart broken and broke
I was using pets plus us and they refused to cover my last vet emergency. My dog ended up dying at that emergency. They refused to cover the bill because they felt that her vaccines were the cause and they would not cover. The manual does not say anything about this and they refused to budge. I would really never want to use this company again and would like to tell others to use another company.

Angus - happy for pets plus insurance
Hi
My 2.3 yo German shepherd developed 4 lumps on areas of his body .
As a precaution, our vet reconnected removal .
We are so fortunate to have insurance coverage for Angus with Pets plus.
They provided a pre approval immediately..
The process was seamless .
Hammond Plains veterinary were fantastic and handled sending the information directly to Pets plus .
We absolutely are grateful to both and Angus is recovering well after surgery:)
Thank you 🙏

TRUPANION DOSEN'T PAY
I TOOK MY DOG IN TO THE ANIMAL HOSPITAL FOR AN INJURY. TRUPANION DID NOT COVER THE EMERGENCY ROOM VISIT COST TO DETERMINE WHAT WAS HURTING MY DOG INTERNALLY. THEY ALSO DID NOT COVER THE XRAY COSTS TO DETERMINE WHAT COULD BE WRONG WITH MY DOG. THEY PROTECT THEIR SELF INTEREST BY STATING THAT AN EMERGENCY ROOM VISIT, BECAUSE MY DOG WAS YELPING IN PAIN, WAS AN "EXAM FEE" WHICH "THEY DO NOT COVER". HOW ELSE DOES AN EMERGENCY ROOM DETERMINE HOW TO TREAT AN INJURY WITHOUT LOOKING AT THE DOG FIRST? I CAN CLEARLY SEE HOW THIS COMPANY OPERATES NOW AFTER MY FIRST CLAIM. MY ADVISE, LOOK FOR OTHER PET INSURANCE PROVIDERS THAT ARE LEGITE. I'M SO DISAPPOINTED WITH TRUPANION AND I WILL BE LOOKING ELSEWHERE.

Best Pet Insurance...so far
Many Pets has been so awesome! What's really nice is they give you a break when it comes to pre-existing conditions. Meaning after so many months not having any issues, they wipe the slate clean and it's no longer pre-existing. Cooper has
been doing well with not having to go to the vet for his allergy (pre-existing) issues. The customer service is the best I've ever dealt with. and I've been with a few other plans.
So YES!!! on "Many Pets" they are in my book one of the best Pet Insurance companies out there!!!

Cancer - they saved his life!
I've had three dogs insured by them. One was diagnosed with cancer in 2020, and without healthy paws pet insurance I would nto have been able to afford the treatments. They saved his life (and mine!).
You don't think about health insurance until you need it. The best time is to sign up today to lock in the best coverage you can afford. Trust me, over the life of your furbaby, you'll be glad you did!

They'll treat anything as "related" to a pre-existing condition to avoid their responsibility
Sammy (my dog) turned 5 this year so I got her insurance. She's never had a written health concern besides "grade 1 mild tartar on her teeth" two years ago. This means they're dirty enough to notice, but not out of the norm, and not enough of a problem to fix. Basically normal wear and tear.
The other day she chipped her tooth playing, so I took her to the vet. Fetch would not cover that visit, and would not cover the procedure the vet recommended because a chipped tooth is "related" to dirty teeth...
I spoke to customer service who defended the decision to not cover the procedure because the vet wanted to clean her teeth during the procedure to have a better view. Customer service thought it was weird that Fetch wouldn't cover the visit though, so customer service resubmitted the claim. I got an email the next day informing me it was still denied.
I chose Fetch because they covered teeth. It was expensive, and the monthly cost was more than triple what they've reimbursed me for, but I figured it would come in handy if something like a chipped tooth ever happened. I underestimated their greed and apathy. Don't make the same mistake I did.
If I could do it again, I would've chosen Nationwide. They would also prioritize profit over their customers and pets, but it would have been cheaper for me at least.
I immediately cancelled my Fetch insurance plan, and will never recommend them.
