Submitting a claim is easy and reimbursement is fast!
The claims process is easy and I appreciate that reimbursement is made quickly. I'm frustrated that my insurance premiums increase each year...almost $8 per month for the upcoming policy renewal.

UTI for my cat
So happy with Nationwide. Seems to be much better than Trupanion. Easy to file a claim and great coverage.

Awesome!
Nationwide has always been great with everything from customer service to handling and reimbursing claims. During this time, we are dealing with some serious medical issues with Maddie, our sweet Golden Retriever and they have been super fast in handling our claims. We will be recommending Nationwide to anyone we know with a pet who is or isn't looking for pet insurance! :)

It is SUPER easy to file a claim with the app.
I have found the Vitus Vet app super easy to use for making a claim or if you have a general question.

Excellent everything, this was the best investment you never know and you need to be prepared, plus customer service is great
You never know what is going to happen and you need to protect yourself let’s they are family too, this was a great investment and well needed and their is no way as a single mom I would have been able to afford the vet care my 8 year old corgi needs and I will do anything for him.

Had to contact a supervisor to correct an error
Several times in the past couple of yearsI have submitted a claim and it was denied saying you had to have documentation for this. You had documentation for it already. I had to contact a supervisor to look up the information and confirm that indeed you had what you needed. This particiular problem I've encountered several times. All someone has to do it look at the history - it took the supervisor about 30 seconds to look at it and tell me yes, we do have all the information, I'll send it in for reprocessing. I submitted one claim for her ACL tear medication several months ago and it was denied because they put it down as arthritis, not the ACL tear. The claim form said it was for ACL tear and someone was careless about even reading my accompanying letter. Do you even look at the accompanying letter of explanation? Should I not bother to even send one? Other than these particular problems, we don't have any others. But I have to keep looking at the EOBs to be sure they weren't denied because of error on the part of someone at Nationwide.
