I don't understand why the anti-anxiety collars recommended by the vet during our appointment were not covered under the insurance. Can someone please let me know?

There's no reason not to take your pet to the vet if you have insurance.

After having a dog with orthopedic issues, two life-threatening immune-mediated illnesses, and finally cancer, I know all too well how vet bills can pile up and how cost can play a role in whether or not owners pursue treatment, let alone go to the veterinarian in the first place. When we got a new puppy, we didn't hesitate a moment and signed him up for insurance immediately. He's just a year old now, but with just a couple of trips for routine issues (URI and an small injury) we met our deductible. When he started showing signs of lameness, we waited a bit and then took him in for an appointment. That's why we have insurance--so we don't have to hesitate when an issue calls for attention. It turns out that our boy likely has some orthopedic issues and will need some special care. You'll always worry about taking the best care of your fur babies, but having insurance takes away the financial worries. Submitting a claim is easy and hassle free, and reimbursements come quickly

Healthy Paws was the best decision we made

We rescued our first dog in September 2019. My friend told me about Healthy Paws and I signed up. The sign up process was easy and the rates are very affordable. Little did I know 3 months later Carl would need surgery. We had many vet and ER visits before the surgery. This was a huge expense we weren’t expecting.The claim and payment process is easy and straight forward. They followed up to see how Carl was doing. I would highly recommend Healthy Paws!

Reimburse process is too long.

1. Reimburse process is too long. It takes over 45 days. 2. Even though 45 days left, the status of claim did not change. So I reached out to a representative to know what's going on my claim. through live chat. It was really hard to get response from a representative. 3. Petsbest looks only working on hooking up customers to add their pet to policy and hardly manage the current customers who have a question for reimburse claim. * When I tried to reach out to a representative through live chat as going through "current customer - I have question something", nobody worked on it. * When I tried to reach out to a representative though live chat as going though "current customer - I want to add a new pet to my policy.", my request is quickly matched with a representative. In light of my experience, Petsbest does not look manage the current customer for claim, but only take care of customers for adding pets to policy (that increases insurance fee).

Nationwide takes the ouch out of vet bills.

Highly recommend Nationwide pet insurance. it is worth the piece of mind knowing that we won’t have to choose between expensive medical bills vs needed care for our dogs.
