Disappointing
I donât know which claim youâre referring to? Overall claims have become an irritant to deal with as are the agents. Focus seems to be on what not to cover than what should be covered and doing appeals is exhausting.

I go out of my way to recommend Trupanion to try to see everybody I know who has animals.
I go out of my way to recommend Trupanion to try to see everybody I know who has animals. I have four cats and one dog and Trupanion has been wonderful. Their customer service is excellent and I love not having to worry about major expenses for my animals.

Doc Haney
I'm disappointed because our dog has been insured for 3 years (October 3, 2019) on October 2, 2019, he visited his vet for diarrhea.
I attempted to submit a claim on 4/17/2021 because he had diarrhea and my claim was denied, when I called to inquire the reason for denial I was told that his diarrhea was considered a preexisting condition (which is completely ridiculous to me since diarrhea is such a broad symptom that could be caused by any number of things). I am currently exploring other options to insure our dog because I feel as though we've been paying into this policy for 3 years now with no return.

Easy, quick, and peace of mind

In every way. We certainly did not know when we adopted our dog that we would need this insurance

The prescription associated with the claim was not submitted correctly by me but not acknowledged until I resubmitted it. Then I was given instructions. Also, using the date of the first line item on the invoice vs the accident date makes no sense.
