I can’t say enough positive things about Petsbest insurance. Buying their insurance was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. My 10 year old golden became incredibly sick very suddenly a few weeks ago. We had to rush him to an emergency vet clinic where he was hospitalized with a grim prognosis. Because we had insurance, we were able to make all of our decisions regarding his care based on the doctor’s recommendations as opposed to cutting off his treatment prematurely due to cost concerns (we had purchased the most expensive policy with no maximum, since, in my experience, any maximum is quickly eclipsed by one serious health problem). I truly credit the vets and Petsbest with saving his life. We were able to get him the absolute best care that exists. Our boy defied the odds and was able to come home from the hospital after four days and he was able to play in the snow, spend 24/7 being a pampered spoiled dog and torment his younger brother. This was my first experience with pet insurance. When I went to submit the claims, I was a bit apprehensive. As any pet owner knows, the second you have to take a beloved pet to the hospital, huge bills pile up very quickly. I didn’t think there was any way we would be able to get our money quickly or without a hassle given how expensive these bills were (thousands of dollars). I guess I was used to dealing with human health insurance companies. Shame on me. I submitted the itemized invoices from the hospital stays as soon as I received them and within a week, Petsbest had approved the invoices and deposited the money in my account. They were so nice and hassle free and helped me save my dog. I will be using them for all of my current pets and all of my future pets. I also will be telling every pet owner I know to sign up. It’s 100% worth it and can truly save the life of your animal. That's priceless.

Upload was easy via app. Payment took about a week which isn't bad per se, but that is much longer than I was advised

I love that all I have to do is take a picture of my bill and turn it in. The underwriting team also distinguishes between what is covered and not, so I don't need two bills when I go to the vets office. This is our first experience having insurance on a pet and I'm extremely satisfied so far!

I had never had insurance on any of my pets before but after seeing the experience of my friends who had insurance I knew I wanted coverage for my new pup. I opted for the wellness coverage as well which thankfully is all I’ve had to utilize so far but it’s bern very easy, painless and payment has been quick! Definitely makes me feel like I made the right choice.

I have two boys who have had knee surgeries (on both knees each!). I could not believe how wonderful ASPCA Pet Insurance has been with me and helping take care of the boys. If I had not had the insurance we would have been out of pocket almost $30,000 for all the surgeries and we don't have it! They have been great and even now after all the surgeries, they still are just as great!

Very easy to file a claim. Prompt response on the claim(s). Reasonable price for a monthly plan.

The only issue I have with your company is I think they take too long to reimburse.

My dog went to the vet and I filed a claim online. I didn't hear anything for a few days, so I called customer service to confirm that everything was alright. The agent said they did not have a claim from me, and she stayed on the phone with me while I re-filed it to make sure they received it! She was GREAT!

Miss Brandy cheerfully swallowed a fairly large rock. This was caught quickly. Surgery was successful at Purdue Small Animal Hospital. My girl is doing well. Thanks to Brandy’s insurance my only worry was her recovery not the cost of the operation. Thanks, Nationwide!
