I have been a member of Petshealth Care Plan for over ten years. They have been most helpful and efficient in any claims that I have submitted. They have been a lifesaver when expenses were higher because of unexpected medical problems that affected our precious Bella. They have also been available by phone with any concerns or questions that I might have concerning coverage and needs for our dog. After much discussion here is no logical explanation why all of my claims are denied.

My 3-year-old Papillon came down with an acute case of protein-losing enteropathy, although his symptoms were so complicated it took over a week for the vets to arrive at that diagnosis. During that single week, we visited our normal vet, an emergency vet, and an internist for a total of 6 visits. Each visit required extensive diagnostics procedures and testing to rule out potential diagnoses, and the bills quickly added up to thousands and thousands of dollars. The anxiety over how to pay for those bills was overwhelming since I'm currently the sole income earner in my household. Thank goodness for Embrace! With my plan, I have been reimbursed for 90% of those bills, excluding the deductible. Customer service has been great. Very very grateful that my dogs have been on this insurance since they were 6-months old because emergencies happen!

My wife made the contact and said "They were wonderful". If you are a husband you have to know the value in that statement. The claim was just sent in today I can't answer the question regarding "Time taken to handle claim"

My experience with Trupanion has been smooth, quick and compassionate. I was able to take Joey to the ER and then the neurologist for an MRI, and tomorrow will be surgery on his cervical vertebrae due to a blown disc. Every step of the way, Trupanion’s customer care department was able to provide pre-approval and set up vet direct pay within minutes, which allowed our family to make the decisions that are best for Joey and allow the veterinarians to provide all the treatment necessary. Looking forward to a full recovery!
