I've only had Healthy Paws insurance for about a year, and the smaller claims have been addressed timely and always politely. I had my first major claim last week in connection with an emergency with my pup, and Healthy Paws promptly (within 2 days of the claim) analyzed the claim and stepped up to its 80% of coverage! Thank you! This allows me to take care of my babies as best as I can and then better!

A couple of months ago, my 2 year old boxer mix woke up in the middle of the night after wetting the bed (very unlike him) and was obviously not ok. I went to the emergency vet at 3am where they had him admitted for three days for spiked kidney and liver levels. It's only me and my dog and he is my world, and without Embrace, I would not have been able to cover the $2,800 vet bill to save him. I recommend Embrace to every dog owner, because there is nothing better in the world than knowing you don't have to worry about the money, and just care for your baby. Each time I have submitted a claim I have received the response very quickly and when eligible for a payment it has been processed and mailed within a week. It is also very easy to track the claim status online. I am very pleased with Embrace insurance for my active Labrador puppy.

I was stressed out about the cost but Trupanion emailed me soon after I filed my claim, and I received a check just a few weeks later in the mail. During the claims process they kept in contact with me to give me updates. I am very glad with my decision to chose this insurance company, and I am very relieved how quick I recived money back without issue. My dogs only deserve the best and that is Trupanion.

I have 3 great Danes, and have had Embrace for over 5 years now. They have always paid claims quickly and efficiently. They cover alternative care without the purchase of an additional rider. They cover office visits. I am a vet tech and I have seen some of the hassles people have with other insurance companies. Beware of plans that do not cover office visits. Often the OV or consult fee at a specialist is the biggest part of your bill. And not only do these companies not cover it, the cost of the office visit does not go towards your deductible. So you have to spend much more than the deductible before they begin to pay. Embrace also pays based on actual costs, not some arbitrary fee schedule. This is very important when comparing policies. Based on a fee schedule, you may get 50% or less of your actual costs, even if you have a 80% policy. Embrace has the best customer service ever. It is easy to get to a real person. Hold times are minimal. Their employees are compassionate and knowledgeable. They are the best!

He was in an emergency clinic for over a week. Trupanion was with us every step of the way. They worked with the clinics on pre-approvals and stayed in touch with us to assure us everything on their end was ok. It was such a relief that we could just focus on our little boy and not worry about the financial side of it. I highly recommend Trupanion - hopefully you'll never have to use it, but if you do you'll be thankful you signed up for the coverage. Thanks to all the vets, techs and the coverage we had our boy is on his way to recovery....for that we will always be grateful! Thank you!!!
