From the beginning, Trupanion has been prompt with reimbursements, prompt to reply to phone messages and overall a very efficiently run organization. They worked with our veterinarian and VCA hospital immediately to inform us of the Trupanion financial responsibilities verses ours. The question of cost was never lingering for days or weeks. In the end when we had to euthanize our sweet dog, they were prompt to send us condolences and let us know the policy would be cancelled and we would be reimbursed a balance for the months payment. We never once had to worry a minute about paperwork, or spend anytime working out details with Trupanion. We insured our dog when he was a pup and would recommend everyone do the same. We had peace of mind throughout the life of our dog, and that was important to us because our dog was a member of our family. Sylvia

Recently, our pup Daisy needed to visit the emergency vet for a possible obstruction. We'd been through this twice before, so we were prepared for potential surgery. Thankfully, some re-hydration and an overnight stay did the trick. She emerged from the hospital none the worse for the wear. I submitted my claim to Healthy Paws through an easy drag and drop--it was that easy. We had an email in a few days and a check in hand a few days after that. It was great not to have to worry about the expense and to focus on getting our girl back on her feet!
