Keeps costing more but takes longer
It used to take only a day and just a little information to submit and get the money but now it takes a lot of extra information and takes 4 days for it to be processed and the money still hasnât been released.

Insurance Coverage for GSD Allergies
5 years (2017) ago we began our pet insurance experience with Trupanion. We originally bought the insurance for possible future health problems associated with German Shepherds, but had to start using our insurance when our girl was diagnosed with allergies. Since 2018 Trupanion has paid the 90% of treatment of allergies every month. We appreciate the friendliness of the staff and the prompt claim payments. Thank you very much.

Trupanion was such a lifesaver when my precious furbaby Hank was diagnosed with IBD as well as when he was hospitalized with pneumonia.
Trupanion was such a lifesaver when my precious furbaby, Hank, was diagnosed with IBD, as well as when he was hospitalized with pneumonia. There was a point where we were visiting a vet clinic or hospital every few days. We never had to pick and choose what treatments we could afford at the time because we knew Trupanion would handle the claims quickly. They delivered on all their promises and he received top notch care without hesitation. I will forever be grateful.

If asked about pet insurance I now know what I purchased.
If asked about pet insurance I now know what I purchased. Since I have a deductible all I have done is reduced my remaining deductible. There was no effort required from me, which I appreciate.

Great first experience.
The claims went in with no issue and cheque (My preference) arrived within less than a week. As long as my premiums are not increased (as was promised) this is a great step up from my previous insurer.
