Trupanion is a real life saver, literally. Compared to how much an unexpected vet bill can set you back, as anyone with a pet will tell you, what I pay for Trupanion is basically pennies. And the peace of mind it gives me is priceless. When my dog was found to have a heart murmur, I was easily able to afford a cardiac workup to make sure it didn't need further treatment. It's such a relief to know that I can make decisions for my pets' health without worrying about expense. Their employees have been nothing but professional and helpful every time I've had to reach out to them. I recommend them to everyone who is considering getting a new animal friend. They are really the best out there, and since my vet has the Trupanion direct pay thing I don't even have to worry about getting reimbursed.

Positive experiences with service and a claim. Our dog broke her leg. We had three choices, amputate, have her destroyed or have expensive surgery. The insurance made an operation possible. Full recovery! Back to normal.

We sent all the information they asking for...and still delaying our claim saying still missing information it have been three weeks ..spoke with them 3 times not results...terrible company

Whenever I call or contact Trupanion, I am met with warm, helpful people. It is easy to use the website and my questions are always answered in a way I can understand.

Trupanion is “Johnny-on-the-spot”. As soon as I place my claim, within a day they have notified me to let me know they are reviewing the claim and within days the claim has been approved and auto deposited into my bank account. I have been very happy with them for over 10 years!

I cannot say enough positive comments about this company. They have insured my dogs for a few years and have been incredible to work with. I never had to think twice when my dog recently had an emergency event. I checked the "what is covered" before agreeing to treatment, (it was over 10,000) and trusted that what they said was covered was accurate. It was and there couldn't have been an easier process. Wish human medical insurance worked this well.
