Your best friend deserves the best insurance
OK, I'm not a big believer in insurance, but when Yumi came into my life 12 years ago I felt I had to get something. I looked around a bit and finally chose Trupanion.
She was a puppy then, with no health issues, and yeah, those monthly premiums weren't cheap, but I soon forgot about them. Yumi was diagnosed with a heart murmur a few years ago, then I started having to give her medications twice a day, and she developed a persistent cough from retained liquid. I would have done anything to make her better, but on September 9th 2021 my bestest friend in all the world passed away.
Well that's my story. Through all the years Trupanion was by our side. And with them by our side I knew that whatever her vet recommended, Trupanion would be there to help. And they've only gotten better since the early days. Making claims is so easy - snap a picture of the invoice with your phone and submit it. That's it. Super fast - like 1 or 2 days - turnaround. Direct deposit of reimbursements. 90% reimbursement rate, at least for my policy. Never had to fight with them over what was covered or anything.
I have NEVER regretted my decision to go with Trupanion. I just wish I still needed it.

Trupanion is keeping my cat alive!
My cat suffers from chronic pancreatitis that was diagnosed about a year ago. If I had not had Trupanion insurance, she would most likely not be alive today. Because of this insurance, she is able to have regular treatments (fluids, shots, medication) that manages her condition. If I had not had insurance, I could only be reactive when she showed signs of flare ups - that sometimes take a few months to stabilize. Thank you Trupanion, she is beside me now on her back and purring.
