Very helpful insurance. I would do it again for any future pet. Sometimes it takes a long time for a refund but on the whole its great. Thank you so much for your help.

We have been with Nationwide since they took over VIP Dog Insurance (which we were with for our previous dogs). I would recommend pet insurance to anyone...regardless of the pets age. Stuff happens and it truly helps you make better decisions. The only thing I wish they could change is security code to get in. As we were back when it was VIP Pet Insurance and I don't remember my code...20+ years ago. I cannot check online as I don't know the code. I wish they could just eliminate my previous code and I could set up a new one...not happened for over 1 year. Apparently they can't and I would always have to call in if I want to know something. Somewhat frustrating, but otherwise good. Sherri

I don't have to worry if my dogs get sick. Trupanion employees are very knowledgeable and friendly.

I disagree with your findings of pre existing conditions. I pay good money for insurance for both of my dogs and spend lots of money on vet each year. I am not pleased to learn Nationwide took 30 days to them tell me there is pre existing conditions to get out of paying a claim. Nationwide is NOT on my side as your slogan states otherwise. Your customer service reps are not compassionate either. I am thinking of changing pet insurance companies.

This was truly a painless process. The claim form was very easy to fill out and submit. The processing time was far less than expected.

It was such a relief to have Healthy Paws insurance when our dog recently had to have emergency surgery. Healthy Paws paid us accurately and on time. It is hard enough to have a pet go through something like this, and knowing that we have had insurance to help with expenses has made it much more bearable. I wish my personal health insurance was as easy as Healthy Paws!
