Definitely an Improved Experience

My first couple of claims with Nationwide didn't go that well as far as processing time goes. It took over 3 months to have 4 or 5 claims processed with a lot of back and forth between the pet insurance and my vet. Turns out most of them had landed in a que which the claim team wasn't aware of. My experiences with my last several claims have been much better! The processing time has only taken around a week which is greatly appreciated by someone who needs claim reimbursement right away for other bills. The only thing that I would say is still a little trifling is how specific I have to be with each claim that I sent in. I sent in one without the policy number referenced in the subject line and because of this it hasn't been processed for 2 weeks now. The frustrating thing is that policy number and literally all information on diagnosis and history are on the attached claim form and in the body of the email. This means that if someone from the claim team would just open it up they would have everything they need, but since it's not in the subject line the claim isn't being processed. I'll have to call them to have the claim pulled and processed. It's just little things like that which are frustrating. Overall my whole experience with Nationwide Pet claims has greatly improved!!!

Great choice

Quick, easy and convenient clean service

As I stated in the title, it’s very easy to work with you. It was easy to set up the policy and the claims were simple to process through my cell phone. The claim checks were received quickly as well.

Miss Molly loves it

VPI/Nationwide has been very helpful, up to, but not including one certain point, that being relief of my dog's anal glands, a required medical treatment.

Well worth it

Our dog broke two teeth chewing a bone, and it was well worth buying the insurance. Paid for the majority of her surgery.

So very glad I have Nationwide Pet Insurance!

When I need to make decisions about veterinary care for my dog Brutus, it is nice to be able to make those decisions knowing I Brutus is covered by his insurance plan. Brutus recently had trouble standing & walking, and with x-rays a very quick diagnosis was made (arthritis in the spine) and proper treatment has made it easy to get him up and around again!

Pet Insurance is a must!
