Because I think it's a great insurance company for pet owners. Every time I called or emailed I received a prompt reply. Claims are handled in a timely fashion also. My questions and concerns were always answered quickly.

Best and Prompt Coverage
Our 2 years old Dane recently bloated and we rushed him to the ER. Turned out he had GDV and a congested spleen. It was the scariest 4 days of my life and even though we’d go broke to save him, it was comforting to know our insurance would be there to support us. After having his stomach tacked, spleen removed, aspirating, and having cardiac issues as a complication, I was a wreck. Healthy Paws, processed our 9k$ claim within 5 days and is covering 90% of the bill. Having the peace of mind with a great insurance company who is always there to take calls and answer questions about claims is a huge relief as a pet parent. They are our kid and we’d never go without pet insurance. We have two dogs insured with Healthy Paws!

Healthy Paws came through for us during an extremely scary time.
We have a Pug, and he was having an increasingly difficult time breathing, could not handle any heat or much exercise (even though he is young and at a very healthy weight), and oftentimes would gag or throw up from exertion. We discovered that Max's breed is prone to having these types of issues because of his breed, i.e. a hereditary condition. I Reviewed our insurance Healthy Paws policy and found that it did, in fact, cover hereditary conditions, but I was still unsure if the surgery would be covered. Our Max had the surgery, and the next day I submitted a claim. it was approved by the end of the day and we were reimbursed within 48 hours! I was happily shocked by how easy it was to submit the claim and how quickly we were reimbursed. I will be completely honest, I do feel like the monthly payment for our policy was a bit high and has increased 2x I believe, but I am so grateful that I purchased it and kept it through those increases and I will continue to be a Healthy Paws customer indefinitely.
