A trip to our usual vets, an injection, medication and a referral to a specialist meant that the cost of veterinary care really mounted up for our 8 month old puppy recently. Thankfully we took Insurance out with Trupanion when we first adopted Poppy and Trupanion very quickly informed us that the insurance covered part of the treatment, which was very welcomed. The claims team at Trupanion dealt with our claims efficiently and kept us informed of every step of the process. Also any time I call Trupanion & fins the staff member I speak with very polite and helpful. I would recommend these insurers to other pet owners.

Their rates, customer service, and coverage are excellent. But their claims process is another story. Even though you have an itemized receipt/invoice from the vet, they require you to have the vet fill out a separate claim form for them that lists exactly what the invoice already has on it and have it signed and stamped by them before they will accept it. This has been a huge hassle, and was contributing to a negative relationship with our vet. We had to cancel the policy and change to another that doesn't have this added layer of work... I would not have chosen this company had I known this beforehand.

I would recomend Healthy Paws to anyone looking to protect their pet. They are very quick with reimbursements, usually in less than 1 week. In fact, we receive confirmation emails of our claims being approved within a day of the office visit. Healthy Paws has given us the piece of mind that we can continue to care for our dog without having to think about whether we can afford it or not. It is a horrible feeling to have to think about whether you can save your pet due to cost. Healthy Paws has taken that away from us so we can concentrate on getting our puppy feeling better! Having a puppy requires a lot of vet visits and a lot of costs. So far I have been to the e-vet twice with my FiBi and have also had to deal with a nasty ear infection that required several visits to my regular vet before it cleared up. And FiBi isn’t even a year old yet. Without Embrace I would have had to absorb over $4,000 in vet bills this year alone. The Embrace staff is amazing and their customer service is top notch. They are so helpful and they truly care about their customers. I would recommend them to anyone. Their turnaround time on claims is really quick and they even have direct deposit. They will email you and update you thru the entire process and will follow up after the fact to check and see that you claim was settled and also to see how your animal is doing health wise. I will never have another pet that is not covered by insurance again and will ALWAYS use Embrace as my insurance provider. Thank you Embrace for being awesome.

I have had Embrace for my Llhasapoo Max for 3 years. I have used the Wellness coverage each year. It is amazing that I can recoup the money spent on shots, yearly exam,etc. The responses and refunds are prompt and courteous.

Pinto is the first pet I have purchased pet insurance for. We have had trouble with a recurring ear infection. I have submitted numerous claims for his treatment, which have all been accepted. Embrace is very easy to use and the customer service is excellent.

This is my 3rd year with Embrace Insurance. It has saved me hundreds of dollars in medical expenses over the 3 years that I've owned my Standard Poodle. The staff is responsive, payments are typically made quickly (although, there is some fluctuation), and all in all, I am very satisfied with the coverage. I always recommend that new pet owners call Embrace!

This is not the first pet that I have insured through embrace. My last dog was also a labrador retirever. My last dog ultimately lost hois 18 month battle with lymphoma. During that time I never had any problems with embrace. They covered everything thaat i had expected them to and they processed my claims very efficiently. The only negative comment that I have is a minor one. When I filed my last claim a few weeks ago my options were to snail mail the claim form and receipt or fax it. I faxed it. The claim went through just fine. There werent any issues. But, I always get a little uncomfortable sending a fax. I wonder if it actually got there. I wonder if it got to the correct person. They used to receive claims via email. I am not sure why they do not do so now. But that s a very minor concern. I highly reccommend Embrace Insurance
