Good communication on status of claim

I have a adorable 5 year old yorkiepoo named Milokofski (Milo for short). One morning my son took him out for a walk and he all of a sudden dropped down to a laying down position and couldn't go any further. He lost use of his rear legs! We rushed him to our local vet that takes care of him and he told me he was going to give me a real hard diagnosis. Milo had a fractured vertibrae and it was putting pressure on his spinal cord. The expense of hopefully helping him was huge. I was doing this for him regardless, but at the moment it was a hugh financial shock! We rushed him to the local hospital and the neurological vet performed the surgery within 3 hours later! The bill ended up being over $5000!! Thank god for this insurance and the people at Healthy Paws! They were absolutely tremendous from day 1. They helped me through the claim filing portion and how to submit it, they followed up with emails to ensure all my documents were in order and to ensure that Milo was doing ok and asked to give him a hug for them. These people demonstrate that they care!! Big Time. I have had more than 20 dogs in my life and all were my best friends. I never had pet insurance before this and yet I am so glad I do now. It removes the worries of huge financial burdens when normally a easy decision should be made. Make him well, thats all that is important. Embrace is the best insurance on the market. Friendly, great website, great turn around time, they are on top of their game and I am 100% pleased and satisfied that I elected to have coverage with Embrace for both my furry babies - (dog & cat). And I promote Embrace at every opportunity....a tip to the Embrace marketing people - you should really have a name presence at Angel Animal Medical Ctr. in Boston, MA - I know that VPI promotes themselves their all the time. VPI gives pet insurance a bad name. The turn-around time is a little long (8 weeks) but I received an email explaining the delay and appreciated that Embrace stays in touch. They are always courteous and helpful--both on the phone and in print, and given the trouble that Moses continues to get himself into, I don't know what I would do without them!

Healthy Paws Insurance is worth every penny! Our dog recently needed emergancy surgery and knowing that the surgery would be covered helped us focus on getting our dog back to good health and not worrying about how we would be able to cover the costly $3500 vet bill. The staff was compassionate and completed the claim process promptly. The claim process is simple and the reimbursement check arrived within a couple days. The hospital staff also mentioned how convenient and affordable Healthy Paws is compared to other insurance companies they've dealt with. I recommend this insurance to anyone who wants the security of knowing they will be able to provide the best treatment for their pet if they should ever get hurt of ill.

I took Layla in for her yearly check up and vaccinations. Thankfully, all went well and there were no surprises! The vet submitted my claim and within a couple days I received my reimbursement for the wellness visit. It was easy and quick.

Petshealth is the best pet insurance on the market. It has enabled us to provide the best care possible for our beloved twelve year old golden retriever. Customer service is superb, the turn around time on claims is fairly quick and more than reasonable. We purchased a continuing care rider a few years ago and it was the smartest move we could have made. I highly recommend this option for all pets. PetsHealth is simply the best!

So happy I cancelled my other pet insurance and went with Healthy Paws. Yes... I have to pay my BMD's pre existing conditions vet bills but that pales by comparison to the benefits we get with Healthy Paws. It's like night an day. No comparison. They are kind, efficient, don't mind answering questions, and very prompt with payment. No squabbling, no excuses, very straightforward. If you purchase a plan this is exactly what you get. my puppy ate a rawhide bone. apparently wasn't supposed to - ooops! had to take him to vet after throwing up. $1500 in bills. embrace was a bit slow out of the gate. many questions i thought i had answered before - but they came around fairly quickly and got moving. reimbursement is also not incredibly fast but they did deliver at the end.
