I only gave the overall rating of 9 as this is the first pet insurance I have had. I have nothing to compare it to. With that being said this is easy through Vitus Vet and I get my reimbursement quickly.

Great service.
We have had a number of issues this year with both of our dogs. Nationwide has been responsive and easy to work with.

Buyer Beware
There is a 270 day limit to get claims approved. You can still submit the claims, but they will deny it. Why even bother allowing you to submit claims if it's past the time they'll pay? I tried SO MANY TIMES to submit a claim through the mobile app after the incident occurred but it wiped it out every time and wouldn't allow submission. By the time I had a chance to scan in the invoices and submit on a computer it was denied. Junk insurance where they charge you but never pay up.

ASPCA insurance is great and would recommend!
I've had this insurance for my pom for at least a few years now and have used it every year since having it! Recently my pom had very expensive exploratory surgery and ASPCA was very quick to go over my claim and refund the majority of that money. I have recommended to everyone who mentions they want to get insurance for their pet.

Easy to work with
Everything about Pets Best is easy from when I initially chose a plan, how to make a payment and handling the renewal and the claim process is super easy. You submit the itemized receipt from your vet, and Pets Best does the legwork including getting any clarity from the vet directly, which is so appreciated. Then once approved, reimbursement is in my account the next business day! It gives me a peace of mind when it comes to taking care of my pet's health or accidents.

Wellness insurance
Recently purchased wellness insurance through fedex was apprehensive at first but have been very pleased with the overall experience. I would recommend Nationwide pet insurance.

Slow pay.
I submitted a claim on 9/24, and as yet 10/9 has not been completed. Keep asking for additional info when i have sent already sent vet invoice and diagnostics. Seems they are just delaying processing the claim.
