Getting a puppy...I was afraid to not have insurance. Vets are so expensive, that I feared having to deal with something seriously wrong with my dog for it's life. Also knowing the number of vet visits, shots, spaying, all in the first year of her life, I knew I would recover a partial amount of the insurance. I had no disputes with their coverage payments to me. In fairness to all...I must say I was called before being sent this review opportunity...and they knew I had a positive experience...I'm jus' sayin'.

Our young dog (9 months) was diagnosed with severe hip dysplasia on both sides. The only remedy for it was bilateral hip replacements. We were told that once the surgery and healing were complete, our dog would be 100% but the process would be very costly. I immediately called Nationwide assuming to hear that this was something that wasn't covered by our plan but to our delight it was. It's now seven months later, our dog is about 90% and getting stronger every day. I tell everyone about our story and how important it is to get insurance for your pet if you can afford it. What we learned is that we couldn't have afforded not having it. Thanks, Nationwide!

I love the service with Trupanion for the most part. The rates have gotten a bit high though. I have had to use this insurance on one of my dogs a bit and can't help but wonder if this current usage is going to raise my rates again.

I love PetsBest because they make it very easy to file a claim and they are very quick to reimburse me. I chose the Best Wellness plan because I like the fact that I can take my chihuahua Jax to the vet once a yr for a thorough wellness exam and i get reimbursed $50 for that and more $ if he is due for vaccines. They even reimburse me $25 a yr for flea/tick & heartworm preventatives. I also have peace of mind if God forbid he gets sick, needs medication or needs a surgery in the future and I know I will get reimbursed a good portion of what I pay. If you are looking for a good pet insurance company look no further. PetsBest is awesome!!

Your submit a claim button does not work. It was much easier to submit claims with your old website. It's one of the reasons I loved trupanion.
