I lost my boy Joey in May, after a VERY expensive battle with mitral valve disease. In August I adopted Evie from Mexico. I insured her with Pets Best the day I brought her home, even though she is only one year old, because I did not want money to be a barrier if she were to get sick, either now, or in the future. In October she started to have GI issues. I didn't have to worry about the cost when she had to be hospitalized or have tests run. Ultimately she had to have emergency surgery, and Pets Best covered 90% of the cost. I am so thankful that she had insurance.

Jake is our 3rd Dane. We love the breed but they do come with medical issues. This one ended up with hyperthyroidism. It took a few vet visits to figure out what was going on him but now he is on meds daily and is doing great! Pet insurance sure helped with all his medical bills and meds. Would recommend Nationwide to everyone who has a pet. Jake also has many allergies and allergy testing is expensive. Nationwide took care of almost everything.

I have 3 cats with health issues that I recently submitted claims for. One in particular has liver and colon concerns -- possibly cancer. One of the other cats had thyroid concerns (since resolved) and the other has a sinus infection. Submitting the claims were easily done via the website and processed quickly. I also was able to contact an agent who answered questions. I have had Pets Best for many years and used it for several pets. I have also recommended Pets Best to friends as I have found it very helpful in try to keep vet costs down. Having it has also allowed me to go forward when more involved care it needed.

I've had ASPCA Pet Health Insurance for more than 10 years, for a number of dogs, past and present, and have been very satisfied with the cost, coverage, and claims processing. I've had claims for an emergency surgery, a chronic back condition, and two planned surgeries, and have not had a negative experience. Claims submission and claims processing has been very efficient, also.

Nationwide Pet Insurance was a lifesaver for our family member, a Jack Russell Terrier named Izzy. Izzy was diagnosed with a severe heart murmur (Patent Ductus Arteriosus - PDA). We were referred to the University of Minnesota Veterinarian Medical Center and she had to have surgery to correct the murmur or she wouldn't make it to her 1st birthday.
