Excellent, rapid claim reimbursement and amazing customer service
I had a question about my delayed submission of medical records (we weren't able to get our dog in for his annual exam, which was overdue, within the 14 day period). Not only did they answer my question, but they also notified me that his annual exam costs could be covered by my policy! I did not think that would be the case given I submitted records late. Throughout the claim reimbursement process, the customer service team was communicative, kind, and quick. Our claim was paid without issue and within a few short days!

Trupanion is great! Aside from having the best insurance policies, every single person who works for Trupanion is able to personalize every experience and genuinely cares about people's pets. Everyone I've ever spoken to has left me feeling like they were a friend who was there for me as well as my pet.

I've been extremely pleased by the fair and prompt judgment Trupanion has demonstrated through these tough senior times for my dog, Ruby. As an attorney in practice for 48 years who dealt with insurance companies daily, I can tell you that not all insurance companies deal in good faith. Trupanion does. They look at all the records, test results and all necessary items and treat my Ruby with fairness and compassion - and their agents are courteous, respectful and cordial. So long as I have dogs, I will ALWAYS insure with Trupanion!

Why exam not covered to diagnose problem
I was surprised to see that the exam to determine that Nate had a double ear infection was not covered. How can you diagnose a problem with doing an exam? It should be covered.
