Get this insurance for your puppy or kitty when you bring the home!
We’ve carried this insurance since 1987 when we brought our first Yorkie puppy home. I ALWAYS recommend it to new “parents”. You can tailor the policy to meet your premium budget for deductibles, standard coverage for both wellness visits (shots, etc.) and illness. We have been totally pleased with this insurance. We tried a different insurance company once to save on premiums and had an emergency clinic bill over $3,000.00 that the alternate insurance didn’t cover. Now we would have no other than Nationwide Pet Insurance.

LOVE your insurance and your Service
I’ve had/utilized your pet insurance on my cat of 21 years I recently had to “put down” as well as our current dog, Max. The insurance has paid for itself many times over with the needs of a young puppy. Filing couldn’t be simpler and takes no more than 2 minutes, if that long. I recommend your coverage to all my fellow pet owners all the time!

Very dissatisfied with Trupanion.
Very dissatisfied with Trupanion. The service used to be SO much better. The rationale for declining a claim is stunning. Just 2 years ago, I couldn't have imagined using any other carrier based on how you handled our other dog's cancer. A lot apparently changed in 2 years and I'm regretting the number of people we referred to you.
