Highly recommend Embrace Pet Ins..Now!
If you are skeptical about the extra monthly cost of pet insurance, keep in mind that unexpected medical "jams" with a pet can run into lots of $$ draining from our accts.
Abby, our newly adopted Crested/Aussie/Beagle mix (dog) did not come with a rider indicating that she's a real thunderphobe. One storm, within 2 weeks of us having her, caused her such panic, she pulled out an entire canine tooth thru the wires of her crate.
Fortunately, our two month free trial had begun, so we were covered. I chose the $300 deductible for now.
Our expenses rose well over $500 to surgically remove the root of that tooth to avoid further infection. We had no idea she'd pulled out the surface of it 2 weeks prior. Our 2nd visit was for a booster shot! And we had coverage from the 2 week waiver since I signed up soon enough.
Whew. Most pet ins. companies cover one month trial, not two.
We recovered $355.00, which pleased us, and all the checks came within 2+ weeks of filing.
Medication now given for anxiety, daily, was also covered in part.

Who knew dogs had ACLs...
Right before the holidays, Walter (8 y/o puggle) busted out the door into the yard to bark at his enemy walking by. This was an everyday occurrence. Unfortunately, this time he was on his hind legs and lost his footing on an acorn. Yup, that's right. He was taken out by an acorn. He wasn't acting like himself and wouldn't put any weight on his hind leg. I got him to the vet and found out that he tore his ACL and really messed up his leg. He ended up having TPLO surgery. This was a crappy time as you can imagine and honestly I dreaded submitting a claim to Embrace. I assumed I would get the runaround and nothing would be covered. I was completely wrong. Everyone I dealt with at Embrace was super nice and were actually concerned about Walter. I ended up submitting a few claims and it was so easy. It made a difficult time so much easier. I've been with Embrace for a few years and never thought I would use it because of an acorn. Shows you that the littlest thing can change everything. I have and will continue to recommend Embrace to every dog owner I know.

Excellent insurance
ASPCA Pet Insurance insured Edward when no other pet insurance would. During Edward's last visit to the vet, he had several growths removed under anesthesia that were then biopsied. The bill was about $900 and ASPCA Pet Insurance paid 80% of it. No trouble. No negotiating. No argument.
In the future when we get another pet, we will be looking to ASPCA Pet Insurance.

Making the choice between treatment or not.
My dog Lily is a 7 year old very healthy dachshund. Then the unthinkable happened. She started having seizures. Not 1 but several in the span of a week. After seeing my vet she recommended a veterinary neurologist. Which we did see to see if Lily had a brain tumor. In order to check for that she would need an MRI and a spinal tap, with a price tag of between 3 to 5 thousand dollars. Knowing that Embrace had my back, or Lily's made my decision easier because I knew I would be covered. Fortunately, no brain tumor and seizures are under control for now. Thank you Embrace.

Very happy first experience
Very happy with our first claim experience with Embrace. Our dog was diagnosed with conjunctivitis and all we had to do was print out a simple 5 question form for the vet to complete and fax it in. Within a day I heard back that that had received our claim and that we were covered within a week from that!

I have had ASPCA health Insurance for my cockapoo dog for the past year. They have reimbursed me for claims that I have sent in for various aliments . I have found them to be a great pet insurance provider, and would highly recommend them to others.

Easy! Efficient! Empathetic!
I don't know why, but we had never purchased health insurance with our previous 5 dogs. When we adopted this dog, Embrace was recommended as one of the best by our vet's office. Now we know why. Right away we had to submit a couple of claims for some minor problems. The process is very easy and the checks came right away. Embrace is excellent about maintaining communication with us.

Satisfied!
We purchased Healthy Paws pet insurance when we purchased our beagle puppy Bella. In hindsight, it was one of the best moves we made. When Bella needed emergency surgery for having foreign material in her stomach/intestines, the quote from the veterinary hospital was $5,700 on the high side, and $3,400 on the low! We were able to recoup a very large part of the expense. Our dog was saved, and so was our wallet! Claim processing is fast and easy. We used the iPhone app and had the reimbursement in less than 2 weeks. And just yesterday, we got a personal message from a Healthy Paws representative, who was emailing just to check in on our Bella. That was so sweet and appreciated! We both have been recommending Healthy Paws to anyone who has a pet!
