Very easy and efficient!

I'm very pleased with this company. They are really easy to reach, everyone is friendly and helpful, and you actually get back what they promise. I received my first claim benefit and it was 80% back and it was filed efficiently. I would recommend!

Great insurance

This is the first time having pet insurance and so far embrace has been extremely helpful. I have had my dog for almost one year and have already filed two claims. The first incident was when the puppy was 4 months old and possibly ingested something causing her to seize and go temporarily blind resulting in a $700 emergency hospital visit. Filing through embrace was very easy, I filed out a form online and they contacted my vet. I was fully reimbursed according to my policy payback. Definitely plan to continue and would highly recommend.

High stress situation made easily more manageable

I've been a Healthy Paws customer for a while now, but over the holidays submitted my first claim -- In general, their customer support has always been great, but in the time of crisis with one of my animals, Healthy Paws made the process easier than the vet's office did. I was able to submit my claim via the mobile app without any trouble, and all my home vet had to do was send a quick email. After the claim was submitted, the process was so incredibly easy - customer service was on top of everything, notified me when documents were received, and when they were beginning to process the claim. The turn around on everything was just as smooth, and they got me a itemized sheet of my coverages and a reimbursement check promptly. I'm so glad I have Healthy Paws as my pet insurance; it's helped a lot in an otherwise unpleasant situation.

My Dog Was Recently Diagnosed …

My dog was recently diagnosed with Addisons disease and the treatments are very expensive. I wouldn"t have been able to afford the treatments if not for Pets Best. I"m typically not a believer in insurance companies but Pets Best changed my views. I thank you and Bodie thanks you!"

The Process To File A Claim Is…

The process to file a claim is straight forward and Pets Best is very responsive, acknowledging the claim and providing ongoing status. Have had nothing but good experience with Pets Best and would not be without it as long as we have pets! Have been passing along this advice to several friends and family members who have pets, yet have no insurance.

beware

I am only 3 weeks into my Petsbest coverage for my 2 pets and so far, at every single turn, there seems to be either problems of incompetence with in the claims department or deliberate tactics to misinterpret vet notes.... i.e., on my clinic's legal medical records ( on clinic letterhead), my vet wrote of specific procedures. The vet basically wrote what procedures were performed for which body parts ( dated, and again, on clinic letter head), the claims department requested more medical records because the procedure " performed" could have been at other vets. Really? Even if it was on my vet clinic's letterhead?They keep asking for medical records when they already have ALL OF them FOR THE PAST 2 YEARS. I have asked them to e-mail me all the medical records they have on file so I can e-,mail what they sent me back to them when they ask for records again. I understand that people with negative reviews tend to write reviews more often than people with positive reviews. I also understand that not every single employee is perfectly trained and competant but.. let me provide this piece of information which I think illustrates how sophomoric their system is. As a rule, there is only one policy # for a policy holder ( i.e. pet guardian). I have 2 pets. They both have the same policy #. All e-mails I have received only show that one policy # without the pet's name. When I am asked to call the company for more medical records, I am asked by the representatives which pet I am calling about, my response is " I don't know, you'll have to tell me as your e-mail does not specify." It's 2017. There is no excuse for this kind of systemic confusion... unless they want to purposely confuse the policy holder and run him ragged. Let's put it this way: Should your whole family have the same social security #? the same drivers license # even if there is more than one driver? etc... Im addition, no e-mails are ever signed so one never knows if the person writing back is the same person one spoke with on the phone/communicated via e-mail or someone else who just saw that an e-mail need to be answered and did as such, perhaps not knowing about the entire situation.

Working with Embraced is easy

Our dog Maggie is over 10 years old. We're grateful we have insurance through Embrace. It's so easy to work with them. I just fill out a claim form, scan it in along with the bill from the vet, and upload it. Easy. Then I pretty much forget about it and then the check arrives. If I have a question, or a problem, I can send Embrace a message and they almost always get back to me within 24 hours. I highly recommend Embrace.
