Fantastic Assistance For Our Lab!
I am very pleased with Embrace Insurance. Our vet Dr. Julia Johnson recommended Embrace and we purchased the first year in April. Our Labrador Retriever Bailey tore up her knee subsequently and after a thorough review of Dr. Johnson's notes, Embrace paid our claim. They are courteous and responsive and I would recommend to any pet owner.

Cherry Eye and coverage
Well, my first ever pet insurance claim went smoothly with Trupanion. I own an English Bulldog who is proned to health issues, and at the age of 8 months, she just had her first major issue...cherry eye. It was an 800 surgery with a precheck of 120/medicine and a f/u visit $. I submitted claims and had to pay 100 deductible on the various claims and then they issued reimbursement of 90% as promised on their literature without any antogonizing f/u required. Thanks Trupanion. I'll be happy to recommend you.Andrea

Amazing Customer Service
Everyone I have dealt with at Embrace has been incredible. My only problem would be the amount of time it has taken to get my claims to go through. I haven't yet met the deductible, so it's not a money concern. It's just odd to have these hanging in limbo when one of the benefits they tout is quick claim turnaround.
That aside, I'm totally happy with this insurance. It's reasonably priced and gives me peace of mind. I've had terrible, expensive illnesses strike my pets in the past and paying out of pocket is NO FUN!
And like I said above, the customer service has been incredible!

Claims Handled Professionally and with Caring
Our two dogs had mishaps very closed together--one with an allergic reaction to new flea and tick medication and one a possible bite. Both required emergency hospital vet care. Embrace showed caring for our dogs in their reply to our claims. These were our first claims to meet the deductible and all was handle very satisfactorily.

HEALTHY PAWS IS FABULOUS!!
Our perfectly healthty 2 year old cat started acting strange, crying, spitting, then eating ravenously. We didn't realize what was going on until he had a full blown seizure in front of us. We thought he was choking or having a heart attack. We brought him to our vet, who believed it could be epilepsy, then referred us to a neurologist for an MRI to rule out a brain tumor. Mc Gee was diagnosed with epilepsy, which is manageable with meds, and he is back to his usually happy self, and hasn't had an episode in the last 3 weeks. Healthy Paws processed his claim of approx $3600 the same day I filed, and paid to the penny all that McGee was entitled to, approx $3200. I was really surprised, as I never had a pet insurance claim until this one. If only people could be provided such great health insurance. I've had numerous emails from the employees checking on McGee and sending him best wishes. What a great company. I'm telling all my friends to insure their pets with Healthy Paws. They are just awesome.

so helpful and caring
My Vet actually gave me a hard time while I tried to get my dog's records. Healthy Paws intervened and told my Vet exactly what was needed and it all worked out in the end. My check as sent out quickly and an email followed to check on my dog's recovery. I would highly recommend this insurance company, they care.

In more ways than one it just helps
My only complaints is it would be nice for it to cover recurring illnesses and quicker response time on claims. However, with that said I have to say I took my dog for an emergency room visit and it paid for a good chunk of that visit. Plus, the wellness package keeps me honest and current with her standard visits because I take advantage of her coverage. I also had a pet with cancer without coverage, this coverage would have helped a lot. I understand for some things it's just not enough, but I've had it both ways and I can say I would never be without pet health insurance going forward.
