Couldn't be easier

When your pet is sick or having issues the last thing you want to deal with is cumbersome insurance paperwork. With Nationwide there is none of that. I fill in a few things on the mostly pre-filled form and fax it over with the necessary paperwork. I get notified when a plan statement is ready and find out what benefit I will be receiving. Couldn't be easier.

Helping take care of Pepper

Pepper just got her yearly check up and all her shots. She checked out as super healthy and at a good weight. Nationwide helps us keep her that way and we love it.

As good as it gets

Wonderful client services, knowledgeable client service people. The only snafu was I didn't know there was a set amount for a wellness check and by buying Heartguard, this exceeded the maximum. Would have been nice to know what the max amount was-have it posted on the site.

We appreciate your support in giving Pico the best care.

I have always had a great experience with Nationwide and previously VPI. I was a little confused why I encounter some issues with my last 2 claims. Customer Care was able to help me sort things out though. Please keep up the great work. It is so comforting to know I can give my best friend by best care and not have to worry about costs.

Don't bother. It's a scam

After years of being a customer and not having problems, suddenly every claim I submitted was deemed to be a pre-existing condition. First, the consider any condition that existed before your renewal date a pre-existing condition. It is a renewal of the same policy, but now since the plan has renewed, anything your pet had even the day before the renewal is now pre-existing even though it is the same policy! My cat has asthma. They covered the diagnosis, but refused to cover the medications due to pre-existing condition. Then, everything, even if it is brand new becomes pre-existing. I took my cat in because she suddenly (read the word there, suddenly) started losing weight. Somehow that is a pre-existing condition to them, so they refused to cover it.
