It’s hard enough dealing with a sudden condition with my dog that needed prompt attention. Knowing I have Trupanion meant I didn’t have to worry about cost and could focus my attention on Bandit. Filing a claim online is easy and getting notifications kept me informed when my claim was received, processed, and paid. My claim was processed and paid fast. For all the months I don’t use the insurance, I know my premiums help pay for other dogs and to keep Trupanion in business. Best decision I made when I got my dog was getting Trupanion.

Healthy Paws just paid $894 for Rosie's surgery, 24 hours after I submitted my claim. I'm very pleased. In the time I've been insured with them, their customer service over the phone and by email has always been friendly and efficient. This surgery was their first "test" as to whether they'd cover what I expected them to cover quickly and without hassle, and they've passed that test with flying colors. Because I didn't ever want to face a huge bill for Rosie's care that I couldn't pay, I got insurance through Healthy Paws about three years ago. After doing research, I selected Healthy Paws because they don't raise premiums or reduce benefits because of either advancing age or claim history; your pet's age determines the initial premium and reimbusement rate offered, and they only raise the premium (on the policy anniversary date) in line with increased costs in your area. Also, the annual deductible is just that, annual, not per incident. And there's no maximum payout limit per incident, year, or lifetime. I recommend Healthy Paws.
