Easy to submit claim online, and Trupanion gave me status updates along the way.

My claims experience was totally positive. Could not have been easier. I appreciate the clear directions and rapid service.

With all the support of Pets Best Insurance we were able to provide our Shih Tzu with the medical attention she needed. In 2017 she was diagnosed a diabetic (critical at that time) and with our insurance we we’re able to provide her that attention. Today she is living a comfortable life in spite of losing her eye sight and most of her hearing; she has a lot of love to give and has adjusted to her condition beyond our expectations ❤️

Nationwide pet insurance has saved us a lot with a very reasonable monthly payment and deductible.

Well you all didn't include other expenses that have been sent and associated with my dogs surgery therefore I didn't meet the deductible. I pay you all each month and then when big stuff happens - you don't apply it? I don't get it? It's also not preexisting... thanks.

The claim submitted process fantastic. Electronic deposit didn’t work bc I never received email from chase, and waited online for 20 min no help, one unanswered email, and multiple phone calls the following day. You need to have a better way to electronically deposit if someone doesn’t get the email from chase other than saying it will expire and come back to us in 15 days and then will take another week to get a paper check. That part was ridiculous, and has been smoothed over since I asked for a manager and Marsha ext 6443 took over. She has been very sympathetic and caring on trying to get my check to me and has followed up several times. I would not recommend nationwide after my first claim due to customer service being unsatisfactory other than Marsha. I also think your inability to work with chase to send another email for a customer to “claim” their money if they didn’t receive the email to do so is ridiculous.

Trupanion has been an excellent resource for my animal care. They are pleasant, excellent in their recommendations and quick response to claims. I would highly recommend this group for you pets.
