Great Customer Service
It took a little longer for my claim to be approved than I expected, since I had already got pre-approved before the surgery. But overall, trupanion has great customer service and is efficient and clear. There's no hidden surprises and always someone available to walk you through the process.

A nice peace of mind, but keep raising rates significantly each year (35% this year)
I have mostly been very pleased with the peace of mind and ease of Healthy Paws. I've had years where I've had a $1000 or more in reimbursements. I'm not sure if it's because I actually put in claims or if it's that my cat is now 12 years old but they raised my policy monthly premium from $73 to $99. I have a 7 yr old and 12 yr old cat. The 7yr has had no claims. I've been a client for 10 years for the older cat.

Fast and thorough
When I filed the claim, I was notified that it would be processed by a date three weeks in the future. In fact, it was processed within a week. The friend who recommended Pets Best to me had told me that they processed claims promptly, but this was still a pleasant surprise.

Helpful, concerned, prompt and personal follow-ups
Healthy Paws is always prompt, thorough and helpful. Filing a claim is quick and easy. Staff is very helpful in assisting with questions and checking in on our pets progress. There are several options for coverages and deductibles that help to make purchasing insurance satisfying. Claim payments are quick and fair.
