Definitely worth peace of mind
I know some people are skeptical about pet insurance. But with my household, it has been an absolute godsend. We have a multiple pet family, and some are precluded from insurance due to age and preexisting conditions. So it's nice to have a backup plan if one of my younger ones gets ill or injured. Reimbursement has been super fast, 3-4 days after claim submittal at most. Easy to submit claims online.

We did not meet the deductible however the process was easy. It was a reasonable amount of time to process the claim. Trupanion was in touch along the way.

I have had really good experience with the customer Service agents since I started my pets' policies with Trupanion.
I have had really good experience with the customer Service agents since I started my pets' policies with Trupanion. They're very friendly and helpful. The reason I did not give them a 10 is because they do not cover exam fees EVEN for an emergency visit. I would have assumed an emergency exam for something that is not routine/preventative would be covered. But once I submitted the claim from the emergency vet visit, the very next day I got a text confirming they were processing my claim, so I am pleased with the speed so far!
