Great Choice For My Pets.

I have been with this insurance company for a few years now. I am completely satisfied with the service for my pets. I have four pets insured. I will always remember when my Sugar passed, the out reach of sympathy from the associates was so warming in my time of grief. I would recommend this Embrace pet insurance anytime.

Healthy Paws Insurance works as advertised

I have a 9 month old Labrador Retriever and when I signed up for insurance I didn't think I would collect on it for a few years. How mistaken I was. I have met my deductible and my last three claims totaled over $1,000, in which over $600 was covered by Healthy Paws. To be covered like that for a little over $42 a month is exactly the kind of insurance I was looking for. Thanks to Healthy Paws I am relieved to know I have coverage for my pet's major medical issues. I might add that my claim was settled in less than 2 days from the time I submitted the claim online. The process couldn't be easier.

Very easy and helpful

It has been a pleasure to work with healthypaws. Unfortunately, my dog needed bladder surgery and healthypaws was quick in filing claims and processing payment. Most importantly - they checked in and showed they care about my dogs well being after the surgery!

Love trupanion!

Trupanion is worth every penny. I am a vet tech/veterinary student after seeing how well Trupanion treated our clients, I decided to sign up as well. I have 6 animals, so I pay a lot per month in order to insure everyone, but it is worth it. 90% coverage for accidents and illnesses. Since I signed up this year, I have already received $1500 in reimbursement from Trupanion and it would be twice this but I am fortunate enough to get a 50% student discount at my schools vet hospital. This reimbursement well exceeds the amount I pay per year in premiums for all 6 of my animals. My first claim was for my dog's pancreatitis. My second was for my cat's ear polyp. At first trupanion rejected the ear polyp claim because they thought it was pre-existing since my cat had had an ear infection in that ear previously. However, they encouraged me to appeal to claim by having my veterinarian write an appeal letter. They were very fair about this appeal process and actually overturned their previous decision and covered the surgery! The appeal process did take about a month and a half, however normal claims go through within 1 week. Can't say good enough things about this company.... A must for every pet owner - you never want to have finances get in the way of treating your pet during an accident or illness, and trupanion is the best way to avoid this and provide the BEST care for your beloved pets!

Trupanion is Wonderful

I was lucky enough to have the foresight to sign my sweet boy up for insurance through Trupanion from the time he was a puppy. We ended up needing to lean on that insurance more times than I would have wanted for the poor guy, but they always came through. I don't know how we would have managed without their quick turn-around and incredible policy. Thank you Trupanion.

upset tummy

My RATCHI started voting and not eating for a day or so at time. Had lots of gas and a little bloated. He had an ultrasound, urinalysis, blood pressure medication. Aspca insurance puts my mind at ease. They contact us to check on Scooby, and when calling the office they look I into your file and try to infirm you correctly. And if the person helping you can't they find someone who can instead of just assuming. I always recommend ASPCA they are AWESOME.

Excellent experience

When I adopted my 4th rescue dog (an American bulldog), I decided to get pet insurance for the younger 2 in order to reduce my financial risk. Little did I know at the time what a fortunate decision that was. A few months after I adopted my bulldog & enrolled him with Embrace, he was diagnosed with a life-threatening autoimmune disease (Evans syndrome). He's had a total of 3 critical episodes with this disease and is on long-term maintenance treatment for it; he also needs monthly labs and other ongoing care. In addition, he needed cruciate ligament surgery at the end of last year. I call him my million dollar dog. I'd guesstimate that he's had a total of $15-20k in medical bills over the ~3 years he's been with me, and virtually all of that has been covered at 80% by Embrace per the plan. It has been an absolute blessing not having to worry so much about treatment cost in the midst of dealing with the emotional and logistical stress associated with his illness. I know more than a few people who've had to let their dogs go because they simply couldn't afford the care needed to treat the disease. Claims (and the pre-cert for his surgery) have been handled promptly; I don't think they've ever questioned a claim we've submitted (I do my best to make sure I give them complete info so there aren't any delays). There was one exception, which is the reason I gave them 9 stars instead of 10: when my dog was attacked by another dog, they ruled it a 'pre-existing condition' because it said in his shelter records that he'd gotten agitated when they tried to give him an intake medical exam (so the underwriter made "aggression" a pre-existing condition).. I thought that was beyond a stretch. But I won't complain too much about that, because they have done a lot of heavy lifting on his vet bills. When I first enrolled him, there was a $50k lifetime reimbursement limit, which I became concerned about (before all this happened, I never imagined that he'd ever approached that number). When I called last year to see what his total was to date, they told me the lifetime limit had actually been removed because they switched underwriters. How often does something like that happen with an insurance company?? Their customer service is also excellent.
