After 5 years with Pet's Best insurance I can say that they've been a reliable partner in the care of my pet. The claims process is simple and quick. You never get the feeling they're trying to get out of pain your claim if it's legitimate. I will continue to use them as my pet insurance provider.

We had to put my husband's "soulmate" cat to sleep earlier this year. He had been lost without him and our other 2 cats were not stepping up to fill his paws…. Enter this tiny orange ball of purrs…. It was love at first sight! It has been a longtime since we had an actual kitten, but some of the memories of what Holy terrors they can be led us to the search for an insurance company and plan. We decided on Pets Best accident and illness coverage ….little did we know that our little Bagel was going to need that sooner rather than later!! Pets Best was excellent from the ease of filing a claim, to communication with Bagel's Dr and us. The claim took a couple of weeks to settle, but holidays were involved, but after our deductible we received 90% of our total bill directly in our bank account! We hope we don't ever need to file a claim again,but if we do we know we are covered! Bagel is thriving and Pets Best helped us make that happen! "

My pooch, Alvin, had been in wonderful health until a recent, rapid decline sent us on a trip to the emergency care of an animal hospital. Unbeknownst to me, Alvin was diabetic and suffering from diabetic keto acidosis. I was devastated as he had recently had a blood test and all seemed to be right with the world. He had been his normal, bouncy, happy, playful self until the night before. His lethargy, vomiting, and bloody urine all onset at the same time and I rushed him to the animal hospital instantly. When the doctor broke the news to me, showed me the estimates, and told me about my options, I was overwhelmed. This all happened just before thanksgiving and I suddenly had a $5700 bill. All the joy of knowing that my baby was going to be alright was ripped away with the concerns of wondering how I was going to pay my bills, especially with Christmas coming up. Pet’s Best to the rescue! I scanned and uploaded all documents and they did the rest from there. They paid my claim with ZERO hassle! There was some delay in processing the claim, but I believe that is due to the holiday season and me not having all records uploaded previously (as they strongly suggest). Having Pets Best is one of the best decisions I’ve ever made and they literally saved my best friend’s life and came through during the holidays for the pupper, me, and my family. I can't tell you how happy I am that I purchased insurance on my fur baby from Healthy Paws. For a very modest monthly cost, they have paid thousands of dollars when she needed surgery and other services. Their response time is amazing! It really helps when you're worried about your pet, that you don't need to worry about how to pay for it. It was one of the best investments I've made.

Took puppy to get shots and received paperwork. Uploaded the docs into my account in the portal and 5 days later, received a reimbursement. Thank you!!

They are a good, responsive group. I had a few instances of working with a customer service agent on the phone and they quickly resolved my issue. Claim filing is easy, the benefits are explained and reimbursement is quick. Only con is that they are expensive, but I did the top tier plan, which is worth it, especially if you have a senior dog.

Our Gracie got mildly sick just before a weekend, and we thought she'd be at least ok to wait until Monday to call our vet. However at 4am Sunday morning she became much sicker so we headed to Urgent Vet. Her symptoms suggested she could have an obstruction but thankfully none was found and she was treated for gastroenteritis. The bill was high! I submitted it the next day, and within 2 days was emailed my explanation of benefits. Even after the deductible, we were reimbursed for a signifcant portion of the bill, and received a check in the mail a few days later. Thank you Pets Best

So far, this has been really beneficial for my dog! The app is easy to use & its easy to submit a claim. The only downsides are, 1. They didn't tell me that I had to submit a years worth of vet info into the portal or online when we initially get the policy. I had submitted for a claim when we purchased Simparica Trio & it was stating it needed more information, but wasn't listing what was needed. I highly suggest for them to make an update on that process. 2. It takes a long time for them to process claims. I submitted my most recent claim on 11/2/24 and we just received the approval yesterday 12-3-24 & it will take an addtl 2-3 business days for the payment to post to our bank account. But I have not been denied for any claims. We purchased this over the phone & customer service was amazing. I've even had to call in a couple times and the customer srevice both other times were amazing as well, US based customer service too! My husband is a first responder and they give discounts which is also a plus. Overall, I would purchase this again for my dog, but they definitely have a little tweaking to do.
