My dog had an idiopathic chylothorax which is something no one can plan for and I was so thankful to have my pet insurance through Metlife! The claims process was easy and I was reimbursed quickly. When I called to check on the claim the people on the phone were kind and understanding! Thank you

Not Great
I have Nationwide Pet Insurance. I recently (July 2023) had to spend over $1,000 on my 17 yo cat. I got $200 back. I spend $117 a month on pet insurance. Not worth it. Planning on changing companies this month. Other insurance plans out there (even for a 17 yo cat!) that are comparable that let you pick deductible and how much you are reimbursed.

We are glad we have Trupanion
Our new puppy Daisy had many alergies and stomach issues. We are so glad we have Trupanion. These past two years they have been a pleasure to work with. Their customer service is excellent and the ease of filing a claim is wonderful especially for someone who is not excellent with technology having been born before Television. Thank you Trupanion.

Best Insurance for Pets
I have had Healthy Paws since both of my Shih Tzu's were puppies. Both have had substantial vet bills. Healthy Paws has reimbursed on vet bills promptly and it couldn't be any easier to file a claim. Premiums have increased only minimally so far. I am so pleased with Healthy Paws!!

Best Pet Insurance
I have had Trupanion for years and they have never disappointed me. I also have a purebred Bengal cat that gets amazing care because of Trupanion. Their customer service is top notch. They take the time to explain any questions and they take excellent care of my babies by helping me be able to pay my Vet bills.
