Great service and coverage but terrible price hikes!
We lost our mastiff after 5 yrs. cost started at $65 and ended at $151 a month! $9 annual price hikes reasonable but then $30 hikes especially during covid! They paid all the claims timely. Now our new Frenchy would only have 70% instead of 90% coverage so on to a new one

lower deductible
I like the pet insurance it has come in handing with me being on Social Security, the only thing I wish, the person I talk to when I sign up explain better the policy because I found out I can not lower my deductible. Only up to 30 day of joining and NO ONE told me that.

Counter Surfing Covered
I had no idea that counter surfing qualified as a behavioral issue, SPOT reimbursed me $500 for my dog's training! They also reimbursed me $2000 when my poor Lou ate tin foil out of the trash and had to get it removed by a vet. This is by far the best pet insurance on the market, I highly recommend everyone get SPOT!

It has been great so far!
It has been great so far! Even when I had an issue with one of the claims, my vet helped me and it was resolved easily with little effort on my part. It's great for potential long-term illnesses in your pet, not so great for short term things as you won't meet your deductible for those, but that's ok! My dog has some heart and lung issues and we've almost met our deductible already with 3 check-ups on her heart!
