Healthy Paws = great investment
My baby, Coco had to have emergency surgery to remove a foreign object from her stomach...during the surgery, the surgeon discovered a major artery not filtering through the liver correctly and they needed to put a shunt in. The surgeon said she likely would have started going through liver failure at some point and they would not have known this was going on only by opening her up to remove the foreign object. I never had to second guess what they were doing for Coco because I knew she was protected by Healthy Paws. I did consistently check that vet records were received because there were 3 different vets due to various moves I've made. But every time I called, every representative I spoke to was helpful and very courteous and professional. Most even stopped and asked how Coco was doing. Once all records were received, they opened and completed my claim within 2 days. And they covered everything I expected them to at 90%. What would have cost $3600 out of pocket only ended up costing $900. And my baby is recovering very well. Healthy Paws was definitely the best choice and a great investment!

Very user friendly
I had never bought health insurance for any of my dogs but decided it might be a wise choice when I brought home an 8 week old Great Dane puppy. He is now 10 months old and we've been to the vet more times than I can count! I've submitted all of my claims via FAX and it has been super easy and convenient. When I submitted the last two claims I reached my deductible and Embrace reimbursed me within a week! I have recommended Embrace to other Dane owners looking for reasonable prices, and good coverage.

Wellness Rewards are a bonus!
We've always had dogs and just had to put our doberman down in January so we ended up getting a puppy a few months later & this is the first time we've ever had insurance, I know we most likely won't have any medical issues since our puppy, Zelda is so young right now but it's always nice to know you DO have coverage if something unfortunate were to happen.
The Wellness Rewards are awesome - covers everything from vaccinations to spaying, and frontline/heartguard and I know we will definitely take advantage of those during our puppy's first year!

Outstanding customer service
I've submitted several claims now and each one handled quickly. Staff is always friendly and helpful. I recently had a bill of nearly $800 for my cat's acute pancreatitis. I submitted my claim electronically on Saturday night, and I had my reply on Monday morning with the benefits summary-I had the check within a few days. I've had nothing but good experiences with Healthy Paws and recommend it to everyone I know with a pet.

tumor on my dogs tail
I started using this company after I lost a pet to cancer. I wish I had their insurance then. I have 2 Shih Tzu's and thought with what I went thru not having insurance with the one, that I would get it for my other two, so I would never have to experience this again. My Vet recommended Trupanion and I called and decided to go with them. My one dog is 8 yrs old and noticed this lump on his tail. Took him to my vet and it was a tumor so went ahead and had it taken care of. My vet sent in a pre authorization and then decided to have it done. I was amazed at how fast Trupanion worked with my claim. He had the surgery on a Monday and by Thursday my money was in the bank (before my Vet cashed my check). Then with the follow up and bandage changes etc, Trupanion had that money in my acct within 2 days. My hubby and I are disabled and these dogs are so much comfort to us and keep us going. I am so glad that I now know I have comfort in knowing my pets will be taken care of when an accident or health issues arise.

Always ther for me and my pets
After loosing my last pug to cancer, I was determined my new boys, Winston and Bojangles, were going to have insurance. I did a lot of research and chose Healthy Paws. Bojangles was diagnosed with a neurological problem which cost well over $2000.00 when he was still a puppy. Last month we found a lump that surgery was $750.00. Bojangles is now only two. Healthy Paws paid quickly and the amount we agreed to, which is what I expected. But I did not expect the considerate follow ups on how my Bo is doing. They really care. So far my other pug, Winston, has been fine, but I know if he ever needs help Healthy Paws will be there for us. Treatment for my boys and Peace of Mind for me.

Healthy Paws Customer service is amazing!
Moxie had complications from a routine procedure that required additional emergency surgery as well as blood transfusions. Throughout the entire process Healthy Paws has been amazing! Both with phone and email communication. I have found them to be an extremely caring and professional company to deal with! I also ran into an unexpected issue after my claims check was issued and they were more than happy to help straighten things out. I have no doubt that they care about my pets as well as me as a valued client. I even received follow up emails to check in on Moxie and see how she was feeling. It is so nice to not have to worry about the cost or your insurance coverage when all you need to be worrying about is your furry family member!

Very easy and straight forward.
So far I have been very please with Embrace. The claims are simple to fill out and they get reimbursed pretty fast. I have 24hr pet watch for my other two dogs and hands down this is much better! I do wish they had an email address to submit claims to though.

A complete Lie and Mostly a FRAUD
We have now been EMBRACE customers for about 180 days--and I must say I find them to have misrepresented the quality of their service and to have little or no regard for their clients or their client's pets--but only in their profits. We started as monthly auto bill specifically to see how they would do--in my view they fail in their claims handling processes--where they threatened not to honor our legitimate claim if the VETS OFFICE--over who we have no control--did not give them a special history within a very short period of 10 days. I find that approach to be EXACTLY THE OPPOSITE of the type of service they have represented--and so we will be discontinuing our coverage and instead putting the monthly amount into a savings account for our pet--where I can make the decisions whether her treatments are justified--not some petty bureaucrat at this lying firm.
