Excellent and amazingly fast service

Healthy Paws Pet Insurance was the best coverage I could find for my pet. I'm so grateful that I signed up for pet insurance. Unfortunately, my pet had to undergo surgery but Healthy Paws didn't let me down and covered the claim as outlined exactly in my policy. I received the reimbursement notification within a day or two after submitting the claim. Super fast and much appreciated. I even received a personal follow up email asking how Cookie was doing and an additional follow up responding about her full recovery. That is customer satisfaction! So far I have referred Healthy Paws to two dog owners covering 4 total pets.

Best Pet Insurance Around!

I love Embrace for several reasons. There are no hidden fees when your policy renews(unlike PetPlan). Also, their customer service people are alwasys so nice and professional(unlike most I have spoken to at PetPlan). Last, they process claims in 1-2 days! I love you guys!

VERY DISAPPOINTED

my pet had hair loss, we tested him for cushings 5-6 years ago, NEGATIVE was diagnosed having alopecia. Took him in for dental cleaning blood work, numbers came back high further tests were needed, something was going on. Tests confirmed POSITIVE for cushings disease - they declined all tests because 5-6 years he was tested for the possiblity of, which was negative 100%. I appealed like many, and declined again. I submitted for meds and blood test for cushings making sure levels were good, DECLINED - disease diagnosed September 2015, first time meds. DISGUSTED. I canceled, the policy, rather use the money for his meds rather then the stress of wondering if the insurance company will accept or decline. NOT WORTH IT. I thought was getting a solid peace of mind for my pet, it didn’t happen. Years of paying for a service and having 3 increases in 5 years. NOT worth it folks.

Disappointed

My dog likes to "eat " things. Found out today that this behavior is considered "repetitive ". If he eats anything else in the next 18 months, he will not be covered.

Financial help for My dear doggy

Meme was diagnosed with inoperable Oral Squamous Cell Carcinoma. Her claim was handled efficiently. We started with our regular Vet and then where referred to Specialist. All the claims were paid promptly. Iggy one of our other dogs claim was settled, last year, just as efficiently

Great to focus on my pet and not the costs.

The emergency hospital faxed a form late saturday night and by Monday I already had an email that the claim was processed. Truly can't ask for more than that.

If only my health insurance could be this good!

We adopted our pup, Riley, in January of 2014 at 8 weeks old. She's a mixed breed (we think she is a Beagle / Lab mix) weighing in around 45 lbs, and loves to eat. We signed up for Healthy Paws as soon as we adopted her, and since the beginning they have been amazing at processing our claims with no fuss. She went through the usual issues (diarrhea, kennel cough, UTI's, etc...) nothing major, and we were very satisfied with their service and response time (always less than two weeks, typically around one, never any debate on whether charges were covered or not). However, at the beginning of August Riley suddenly stopped eating her food, became very lethargic and we knew right away that something was very wrong. Even with the worst spouts of diarrhea - she would eat everything in site. We rushed her into the vet before work, they did some x-rays, and with the results being inconclusive, decided to hold her at the Vet and have an ultrasound done. We received a call around 5 pm that there was definitely a blockage between her stomach and small intestines, and due to the sensitivity of the location the blockage was in - we needed to really go into surgery that night at an emergency facility. Long story short - Riley went through the surgery without any complications on Thursday night. We were able to pick her up Saturday morning, and $6,891.54 later, we got our baby back. As soon as we got the bill (Saturday AM) - we used their mobile application to submit the bill through my iPhone, no forms, no prior authorizations, no hoops to jump through, just a picture of each page of the invoice and pressed submit. By 11am THAT Monday, two days later, I received an email that the claim was processed with an EOB link: $6,202.39 paid! By Thursday of the same week, I had a check in my hand. Unreal processing time! In a time of such agony and fear that something could have happened to our baby, they gave us one less thing to worry about. They helped us avoid turning her medical matter into a fiscal matter, which really let us focus on what was most important for Riley. About a week after all was said and done, they even reached out to us to see how Riley was recovering. Thank you Healthy Paws!

The absolute BEST pet insurance & trusted partner!

My rescued pooch had mast cell tumors that needed to be removed from her ear. Healthy Paws provided stellar coverage and support throughout the process. They simply do what they say and advertise and do it best. I sleep better knowing they are my insurance partner and it is some of the best money spent by me monthly. They are a godsend.

Extremely pleased with this insurance

Yes, they only pay for emergencies with the plan we took out on our yorkie/pom, Nina, but she has had 2 of them in the 3 yrs. we've had her, so the insurance came in handy.
