Great Customer Service and Claim Reimbursements
I am on my 2nd year with this company and I couldn't be happier. My mixed breed dog that I adopted in 2016 from the shelter has been healthy at all her yearly vet visits. This policy was offered through my current insurance and I decided the price was right and she wasn't getting any younger! 28 days after purchasing the policy my dog was diagnosed with Cushings Disease, I was devastated! I was overwhelmed by the cost of testing, but she was worth it. I was going through my e-mails and a reminder that my monthly premium had been withdrawn from my account caused me to check and see if the policy would by chance cover her treatments....I got a great surprise, they were covered!
With my first claim I had to send in 12 months worth of Vet Visits to show she had not had any issues up to this point. So when I submitted my claims (and I've done so for medication and testing for this last year) they were quick in reimbursements per my policy. When I've had questions they were very prompt in responding. I would recommend to any pet parent. Of course the younger the pet the better the policy price, but that's a given with any policy. I like that you can choose your deductible, your max payouts per year...it makes it easy to find coverage you need at a price that is affordable!

They have express pay so you only pay your 10 percent up front. They never raise price for aging like most others do. The customer service and 24 hour hotline doubles as a shoulder to cry in when you are worried about your pet emergencies . They paid out 40 thousand for a brain surgery to remove a seizure inducing non malignant tumor. I LOVE Trupanion.

Healthy paws has been there every step of the way from the first day my 7 year old yorkie named Nami was diagnosed with an inoperable cancerous tumor in June of 2022. Healthy Paws has never denied or even questioned the radiation and ongoing chemotherapy treatments. They are very easy to file my claims through and usually reimburse my account within 4/5 days after filing my claim. I recommend 100% for all pet parents to choose Healthy Paws, without them I would be financially unable to afford Nami’s treatment plans. Thank you Healthy Paws for taking some of the stress and worries away

Healthy Paws for the Win!!
Healthy Paws is a wonderful insurance company. My dog has needed 3 surgeries over the past 4 years and the one thing I never have to worry about is the support from Healthy Paws. Not only is their reimbursement process lighting fast, but they reach out after major health events in your animals life to check on them and YOU. Can't recommend this company enough.
